Can’t quite believe I am writing this post. It was only two weeks ago Chester was fit as a fiddle on his usual Wednesday lunch time walk with me but after an extremely short illness Chester passed away last night surrounded by his family. Run free Chester we are all going to miss you so much 🌈 💔

River has learnt that if he walks across the plant borders, he can hop the fence. So, that's exactly what he did yesterday and got into the car without me knowing while I was loading the dogs. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

After my boy being poorly for the past week with a swollen paw / leg after I pulled out a foxtail the last week we were suspicious something may still be in there and we were right! Vet had just popped this out of his leg! Please check your dogs over at this time of year!

So incredibly lucky that this is my job, a view I could never get bored of. I just love being out in the fields we didn’t see a single person it’s absolute bliss and managed to get 25,000 steps in today too! 🥰🥰🥰

Your yearly reminder to check your dog over for foxtails this time of year! They especially like to get in between toes but can get anywhere and will bury them self into your poor dogs skin which happened to Huxley and he now has an infected paw! 🐾 As the fields get harvested in the next month or two they are going to be all over the floor so I would highly recommend checking your dog over every couple of days to make sure they don’t have any starting to burrow into their skin!
