We are an established family business.

It's that time of year again when here at Holly hedge, we ask if you are able to help support us at our annual fun day.
This is our biggest fundraising event of the year with a footfall of 3-5,000
It’s a time when we can reflect on the thousands of abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats who have sought sanctuary at Holly Hedge since it
first opened its gate in 1992.
Covid and then the cost of living crisis has seen animals coming in daily. Vets bills last year over £115,000 these unloved souls need us now more than ever.
With only 6 weeks until the fun day (10th September) time is getting short. We are hoping for better weather than of late but not too hot!

Some companies will not cut into them as they are not willing to do it, but it is very easily done.

Please note that this will be at your own risk, once the door is cut into, it can not be repaired.
A new door will be required and can be costly if you need to replace it in the future.

To cut a hole into a Composite Door this can be done in one visit, all we ask is a few days’ notice to arrange for a fitting time.
(May be a few days longer on waiting times when we are busier, i.e. a few more days than normal)
We do aim to give the earliest available times.

French doors

Q. Can Cat and Dog Flaps be Fitted into French doors ?.

A. Yes it is possible to fit a cat or dog door to your French doors.
However the is a minimum size required on the height and width of the glass.

Your existing glass can not be cut into.
You will need a new unit made to fit your door.

You will require 2 visits one for the glazier to measure up and the second one will be for the fitting

We do aim to give the earliest available times, however when we are busy it may take a few days longer.

Please contact us if you would like to have a cat / dog flap fitted into your
French door.

We can supply the flap for you at an extra cost or you can buy your own and we will fit it on the day of fitting.

All we ask for is a photo of the whole door and your postcode we can then send you the price.

Glass Fitting Only Flap.

Suitable for Windows, French Patio, Bi-folds, & Sliding Patio Doors.

For sliding doors: The Cat Flap protrudes 17mm on the inside and 11mm on the outside of the door its connected to. Please ensure enough clearance for sliding doors to pass the pet door.

When cutting into Composite doors, We are now advising you to have a couple of extra accessories added (mounting adaptor, tunnel extender) when fitting a Sureflap microchip cat flap / pet door due to interference from any metal that maybe in your door.

Please note that this will be at your own risk, once the door is cut into, it can not be repaired.

A new door will be required and can be costly if you need to replace it in the future.

To cut a hole into a Composite Door this can be done in one visit, all we ask is a few days’ notice to arrange for a fitting time.
