Located in the tiny county of Rutland, UK, I graduated from the University of Northampton with a BA Illustration Degree. As well as running my own business, I am a full time Art and Design teacher, with the aim of inspiring the next generation of artists. Specialising in Pet Portraits and Anthropomorphic drawings, I am inspired by the idea of each animal having t

Practice sketch

Another practice sketch using tonal pencil. As I am a perfectionist, I am trying to practice getting quicker with my portraits. This portrait took me around 2 and a half hours which I am pleased with ✏️

I'm really enjoying working in sketchbooks at the moment. I currently have this portrait sketchbook on the go as well as my travel sketchbook. Its a great way to practice your skills as well as showing each stage of your progress ✏️
