Just a reminder in this hot weather. Ice lollies for humans are NOT ok for dogs. They may contain XYLITOL which is poisonous for dogs. Even in small amounts it can cause seizures, liver failure hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) and in some cases even death.
Try making a homemade icelolly with some fresh fruit and water - they'll probably enjoy thus more too!!

Do you know what to do if your dog is suffering from heat stroke?
Signs - excessive panting - bright red gums & tongue - vomiting - collapse - excessive drooling - seizures.
What do you do?
Move the dog to a cool/ shaded area - pour cool water over the dog (not too cold) - offer a drink of water - keep pouring until the breathing settles - take your dog to a vet to be checked over - even if the dog seems better.
