FOUND

We have had 2 cats (both around 16 years old) brought in to our Truro practice. Both are chipped and chips are registered to the same household but we are struggling to make contact with the owner due to incorrect telephone number and email

From info of the person who found the cats, it is believed they have been missing a while so we’re hoping we can reunite them back with their rightful home 🐱❤️

Edit: reunited with owner 😀

❌️DANGERS OF SAND DUNES Crantock beach Update❌️

Good afternoon.

Concerns are still being raised by the emergency services who are warning the public that the shifting sand dunes continues to pose a danger to the general public on Crantock beach. These dunes are still at risk of collapse. In fact there's a danger anywhere that has sheer dunes overhanging, even if you are just going for a walk along a beach extra care is needed and you must not go near these, however fascinating they may look.

Over the years the sea changes the shape of our beaches, including our sand dunes, the seas have been creating steep sand cliffs which now hold a potential risk of collapsing, by suddenly giving way and acting simular to that of an avalanche.

The public are now being warned to stay away from these dunes as they are far too dangerous and could give way again at any time and burying anyone who's underneath them. For safety measures staying clear a distance of 164ft away from the base is advisable.

❌️PLEASE DO NOT LET CHILDREN PLAY NEARBY❌️

Stay safe,
Penny,
KWT

Yesterday we said goodbye to our Tregony surgery after 20 years ❤️

It was a sad day for us all but we are so thankful to our Tregony team, Luke, Di and Sue, who have worked tirelessly with our other vets and nurses to ensure our clients on the Roseland received a warm, welcoming service.

We are delighted to share that Luke, Di and Sue will be joining us at our Truro branch to continue delivering that lovely service we all know and love.

While it is the end of an era, we are looking forward to visiting those of you who will make use of our home consult service (please contact us for information) and we are very excited for what the future holds for Clifton Villa ❤️

A big thank you to all our loyal clients over the years too 🩺🐾

An update on Raven the chicken and friend Pep - they both had suprelorin implants while under sedation and have recovered very well since!

Our nurse, Chloe-Mai, says they’re both very people friendly and Pep is even a house chicken! 🐓

If you didn’t know… suprelorin is an injection that can be used for different animals. For these two, the injection is to stop them both laying eggs as they both had serious problems before 🥚

To give some background:

Pep was a rescue from a pet shop where was very badly bullied and, as a result, now much prefers human attention! She last laid abnormal eggs which leaves her at risk hence why she now has the injection! But she is so placid she doesn’t mind! 🥰

Raven is having the injection to allow her to recover from her previous lay!

They are some truly pampered ladies ❤️

We have sadly had a deceased female cat handed in to our Newquay branch 😔 She is chipped but unfortunately it isn’t registered. Found near Huers Hut.

Tabby, long-ish haired, very fluffy tail and ear tufts - if you think she could be yours, please contact our Newquay team on 01637851122 📞

This little girly came into our Camborne surgery the other day for a health check as she’s not long joined her forever home ❤️

Her consultation involved getting an up to date weight, her teeth, ears, skin and coat are all checked and our vets provided advice on how best to manage diet and exercise as she grows. We love a day like this! 🐶
