🐾 Price Update 🐾

Starting September 1st, we’re introducing a new pricing structure to better cater to your dogs needs. We’ll be categorising our dogs into three grades based on their training requirements: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3.

🔹 Level 1: Well-behaved dogs that integrate smoothly into group walks. Pricing remains the same!
🔸 Level 2: Dogs needing moderate attention and training. Our team works closely with owners to help these dogs improve their behaviour.
🔹 Level 3: Dogs requiring the most attention and individualised care. You’ll receive regular updates, a 10% discount on the first three one-on-one training sessions, and priority booking for Saturday morning classes.

This change ensures we provide the best care and attention to every dog, always prioritising their safety and well-being. Our goal is to see all our dogs reach Level 1, and we’re committed to giving them the tools they need to succeed. 🐶💖

🏆🐾 Dog of the month goes to Raya! 🐾🏆

Every time we see this girl, she grows in confidence. When we first started walking Raya, she was unsure of herself and hesitant around other dogs. She would either bark at distractions or jump into situations with a lot of excitement, masking her lack of confidence and social skills.

We are all so proud of her progress, but we can’t take all the credit. Her wonderful owners have dedicated so much time and patience to her training, and it’s paying off beautifully. Just recently, they sent the sweetest photo of her and her sister winning Best Junior Dog Handler! 🌟Raya is now interacting with other dogs in a much calmer manner, and her recall is becoming so reliable, even around distractions. She can also jump into the van now and we’ve never seen a dog more proud of herself for accomplishing this, it was a big deal for her. We are almost ready to take off her longline for good, we are only keeping it on to ensure we’ve proofed all distractions. Keep up the good work Raya! 🐶💪

Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for your understanding about our policy on giving us 24-hour notice for cancelling a walk. We really appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep things running smoothly. Planning the walks and ensuring all the dogs are in the right groups takes a lot of time and effort, but it’s all worth it to make sure the dogs are happy and safe. Giving us the right amount of notice also allows us to offer the spot to another dog in need and helps us avoid any staffing problems. Thanks again for your cooperation and support!

I often come across signs like this in the woods, and I actually agree with the message they convey. However, I do find the tone in which they are written a bit off. Accidents do happen, even with the most well-trained dogs. If a dog happens to run into your space, it’s important not to get annoyed or angry, as it will only make your own dog on the lead feel the same way. Instead, why not try to relax and understand that perfection is not attainable all the time? Just keep walking with a positive attitude, and the movement alone should be enough to avoid any potential issues. It might even make your own dog start to question their attitude. If you notice that the dog owner is making an effort, maybe we can try not letting it ruin our walk or someone’s day.😃

We would like to announce our ‘Dog of the Month’ for March & we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving than Ralph! Ralph has made incredible progress since we began walking him. 🏅🏆

When we first started letting Ralph off lead he used to range so far but now he always stays close and checks in with us regularly. He used to have a bit of an obsession with chasing birds, but even though he still enjoys them (we can’t take the spaniel out of this boy). He never gets too silly and always comes back when called.

It’s absolutely fantastic to witness the remarkable growth of his confidence around other dogs. Ralph, you’re doing such a great job, and a big congratulations to his wonderful family for all the effort they have put into helping this boy. He truly wouldn’t be the same without them.

Following on from our previous email regarding the request for standard 4ft leads, we would like to provide some examples of our preferred leads, as well as discuss the importance of saving certain leads and accessories for personal use.

Ensuring we have the correct equipment is crucial for the safety of your dogs, especially in situations where quick attachment to a lead is necessary. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding on this matter🐶🐾

We just wanted to remind everyone about the importance of properly fitting collars. We really want to make sure they are safe, so please double-check that the collars are fit snugly and cannot slip over their heads. Safety is our top priority!

January’s Dog of the month 🤩❤️ A little bit late in posting this but we have decided to give a double award as we couldn’t separate this adorable pair, Betys and Olive.

Sadie has a special connection with these girls that goes beyond words. Their presence in our lives brings us so much joy and love. Let’s start by talking about Betsy. She truly is one of a kind. When we first began walking her, she had a bit of difficulty getting used to it. She would only show interest when she saw bikes, which would make her want to chase them without any regard for our commands. However, as Sadie spent more time with her, she discovered fun little tricks to get Betsy moving. Now, we can walk anywhere without her stubbornly sitting on the ground. Betsy has learned not to chase bikes or horses, and is one of the sweetest and purest souls we’ve ever encountered.

When we first met Olive, she had quite the sassy personality, (typical frenchie). It wasn’t her fault, she just had a tendency to look for trouble. But underneath that bravado, she was a bit nervous. However, as time went on, she realised that we would never put her in an uncomfortable situation. And gradually, she started to let her guard down and showed us her true sweet self. Like her sister, Olive also has an extremely high chase drive, again typical french. But after some recall training, she gladly chooses us over any distraction that comes her way. It’s so nice to see Olive let go of that chip that was on her shoulder and finally embrace the camaraderie that most frenchies crave.

Both of these girls are absolutely brilliant when it comes to making us laugh. We can’t stress it enough, but their family deserve a huge thank you for the love and support they provide. It’s thanks to them that these girls have the freedom and opportunity to truly embrace their confidence and let their vibrant personalities shine. We are forever grateful for all they do, because they are truly one-of-a-kind.

It’s always so heartwarming to return to these wonderful, slightly crazy dogs after taking a break. The feeling will never get old & I am so grateful to them. For those who have been missing their dogs after enjoying some quality time together over Christmas, I hope we can bring a little comfort. We’ve all made sure to give them some extra love this week. I hope everyone is doing good.

We are pleased to announce that Mylo has been chosen as our dog of the month for August. Our first female recipient & a OG at Dog-social. 🏆

Mylo, a chihuahua cross yorkie, has the best qualities of these breeds. Despite being so cute & little, Mylo is not a typical delicate princess but rather, she has always been treated with the respect of a dog much larger then herself. Her blend of sass and confidence has served as a valuable lesson to numerous dogs over the past 10 years, demonstrating how to interact appropriately with dogs of all sizes.

Mylo I don’t think any of us could love you anymore then what we do. You’re a really special girl & it is such a pleasure to walk & care for you. 😘💕

⭐️ July’s Dog of the month is here & this month we have chosen Teddy!! ⭐️🏆

It was a unanimous vote as this little boy & his lovely owner have been working so hard & made such a big improvement, we felt it couldn’t go unnoticed.

After Teddy’s castration he started to obsess & focus on his love for squirrel chasing & was ignoring his recall. A couple of times he even got himself lost 😞 With a little help from Sadie, along with a big effort from Teddy’s mum, he is now able to enjoy his walk without losing himself & getting worked up over the pesky squirrels 🐿️ I think it’s fair to say that Teddy’s confidence around other dogs & in general has really increased too, it’s so wonderful to see.

Keep up the good work little man, we are all really proud of you. 🥰⭐️

It’s good fun & more importantly we can really notice some big improvements & positive changes in all that attend.

Introducing DOG OF THE MONTH🏆
Every month we will be selecting a dog we believe deserves some special recognition as we want to acknowledge both the work of the owner & their dog for their achievements. These will look different for each individual dog but it’s important to take a moment to reflect on how far they have come.

This month we are celebrating Ralph!🎉

Sadie says: The first thing I think about with Ralph is that he is such a kind boy.
Not only does Ralph have one of the best recalls I’ve ever seen in a dog, I’m yet to meet a dog that doesn’t respect & love him. His energy is contagious & some of the quieter more nervous dogs are always left with more confidence after a walk with him, he’s even managed to get them to let their hair down at times. He makes me so proud & I couldn’t think of a more perfect fit for our first ever dog of the month. A special mention to Ralph’s owner who right from the start took the time to learn exactly the needs of her little boy & has consistently given Ralph, structure, boundaries & always puts him first. He would not be the loveable boy he is today without you. The pair of you make an awesome team.
