Happy 10th Birthday to us.

This is one of the hardest posts I've ever had to write, it has taken me over a week to write it. I sadly had to say Goodbye to Puzzle on Tuesday 11th Feb, her health had finally caught up with her and she went peacefully at Belvoir Vets with everyone around her, she was very much loved by everyone who met her, and she was a firm favourite there, where she received the best care, so a very big Thank you.

Puzzle was the whole reason behind walk the dogz (and It's a Dogz.life), so that I could spend time with puzzle and not leaver her on her own, whilst I went to work. Puzz is also the reason behind It's a Dogz.life, due to her health. Puzzle went peacefully on Tuesday 11th Feb, surrounded by everyone at Belvoir Vets, where she was very much a firm favourite. A very big Thank you to Belvoir Vets for all you have done for Puzz. Run free little munchkin, you will be missed by a great many but your legacies very much live on. 💔🐾🌈

And that's a wrap Folks. Finished our last walks for the year, so it's time to hang up our keys and leads, dry out our boots and enjoy family time and the festivities.

Thank you to to all our clients, old, new and ones we haven't met yet, for entrusting us with your loveable dogs (and cats for those i pop in to feed), for continuing to support a little business. May you all have a really amazing Christmas and Happy New Year. We'll see you all in 2025!!! Until then don't forget get too keep things like mince pies away from your dogs

It's been a hard day today. Snoozes and cuddles in the shade. ❤️ 🐾 🐾 😴. So love my job!

Our first and only shaded walk of the day is done, we were parked in the shade and it was still 24°c. We will be doing garden visits this week for those that are walked later in the day. Stay safe out in the heat, please walk either early morning or late evening when it's cooler. Every dog is different in how they cope with heat and humidity. It is worth remembering that the ground will also reflect the heat back up. Why not do scent work with your dog inside or help keep them cool with ice cubes in their water bowl or if you have water close by take them for a dip.
