Almost ten years ago the longest, tallest, most gangliest legged kitten stepped out of his travel carrier and into our lives. He changed everything. Not only was he enormous, beautiful, and regal, but his personality was one of a kind. He became so much part of the family that he was like our third child... Getting into the bath with the children, going on long walks through woods, rivers and long grass on his lead, loving every kitten we had born here.. They all got a khomani wash whether they wanted it or not. He slept on our bed sucking his blankie all night. He could tell when Mark was having a diabetic low and would wake him up. He's been losing weight a little over the last few months but nothing that caused alarm bells. A few days ago he suddenly started to get a bloated tummy. Last night we could tell it was not normal and this morning we took him to the vet.. absolutely shocked and horrified to find out he had end stage cancer. We brought him home for the afternoon with all of us out of work and school and he purred on the bed with us cuddling him. This evening our fabulous vet came to the house so he was on our bed with us and his blankie and gently left us.... Heartbroken doesn't even come close to the pain we feel. He has left a hole that will never be filled.. he is going to be forever missed and loved. Our beautiful, unique, irreplaceable Khomani. Fly free beautiful boy. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
