PEts Ed follow the guidelines of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and the Association of Pet Dog
Trainers (APDT) using kind and non aversive teaching methods to train your dog. All training and behaviour modification programs use reward based training methods and positive reinforcement. This means that the way in which we teach you and your dog new commands and tricks is by encouraging or ‘luring’ your dog with something that he really likes, such as a piece of food or his favourite toy. People are more encouraged to keep coming back into work everyday if they know that at the end of the month, they will be rewarded with their pay. This highly successful method encourages your dog and makes him want to work for you. There is better chance of your dog showing a particular behaviour again when you ask him to, because of the association that he has learnt between this behaviour and receiving something he really likes, his reward. All group training classes and individual training classes are highly interactive. The aim is to make each class fun for both you and your dog. Classes cover basic training skills but all activities are designed to be enjoyable and motivate you and your dog. We encourage all dogs and owners to move at their own pace. There is the option to learn other skills along the way and also develop further in your training and progress through one to one sessions. operates in the London and Surrey areas including North West London, West London, South West London and Surrey. Puppy training and dog training classes are currently held in Hampton and Hampton Hill areas.
