To round up next Tuesday I'm doing something brand new - a free live Q&A Zoom with me that anyone can join. I normally only do this for people in my membership to be able to ask me anything (erm - about dogs 🤣).
Are you wondering if it would be helpful to walk your dog less? Why wouldn't you take your dog for a walk? What you could do with your dog instead? Or any other struggle if your dog is nervous, reactive , or over-excitable.
I'll also give you a taster of what it's like in Pup Talk The Pack dog training and support community. And tell you a special offer if you wanted to try it out for a month.
The Zoom limit will be 100 people and I have absolutely no idea how many people will want to attend. I'm keeping my admin simple so there will be no registration or reserving a place. First come, first let in until we reach the limit.
The session will be recorded and I'll make it available to watch if you couldn't join me live.
You will able to submit questions in advance, or post them in the chat. And I will get through as many as I can.

Did you know you can give your dog small quantities of plain, air-popped corn? Other low-calorie snack ideas include: Plain chicken Veggies, including carrots, green beans and broccoli Apple slices Some dogs will happily 'work' for their normal daily kibble/dry food. You can even grow their food motivation for non-treat foods by playing games. Just make sure you reduce the rest of their daily food to allow for the 'treats'. What's your dog's favourite treat?

I started Pup Talk The Podcast in lockdown. Although I'm naturally quite shy, I found that it was really easy to talk to anyone that I bumped into if we had dogs. And lockdown meant I missed doing that. The podcast was started as a friendly chat with other dog lovers, about any topic that people with dogs might find interesting. What I didn't realise is all the amazing people it would really connect me with. Although I work on my own most of the time, I never feel alone! Thank you to all of my wonderful guests. I’ve been animal mad my whole life and I’ve swapped a thirty year corporate career to work with dogs (and their owners) full time. And I couldn’t love my job any more! I’m a game-based dog trainer and I help clients on-line and face-to-face.
I provide on-line training in small groups, as well as behavioural consultations and bespoke training plans. Training in your own home is very effective; you’re training your pup in their normal environment. Without all the distractions of the outside world. Once you get good at the games at home, you set your dog up to succeed when you take the games outside.
I also offer face-to-face training (with precautions) in gardens, parks and training walks. These are great options for real life coaching.
I train all breeds, puppies and older dogs. I especially love working with rescue dogs; my own lad is a rescue Collie Lurcher X - Bodie.
