🎉 Elite Pet Care is 14 years old today 🎉

❤️ When I started my business back in 2011, I was initially offering dog walking and pet sitting.

🐾 Over the years my business has evolved. I knew of so many people who were struggling with their dog's behaviour that it was inevitable I would become a dog trainer. And of course, me being me, it was important do it properly, so I became accredited through the proper channels, lots of hard work, but very worth it 😊.

❤️ It's hard to believe that I've been dog training now for the past 5 years. And while I no longer offer pet sitting, I still do a few dog walks a week. Most of my walking clients I've had for many years. And the training side of my business is growing rapidly.

🐾 I am ever so grateful to every customer and every 4 legged friend that I've met over the last 14 years.

How beautiful is little cavapoo, Teddy. 😍

❤️ Teddy's wonderful mum got in touch as Teddy had started to display some unwanted behaviours at home and on walks.

🐾 Teddy is doing amazingly well. He is so lucky to have a family that are dedicated to helping him make better choices.

❤️ I can't wait to see his progress, and as you can see...his cuteness is off the scale.

Last week I had to say goodbye to one of my best friends. 😢

❤️ Beautiful Brodie has been part of my life for the past 9 and a half years, along with his wonderful brother Archie. Being with Brodie never felt like work, more like a privilege.

🐾 Brodie was one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. He had the gentlest soul and was best friends on his walk with my own boy, Benji. You could guarantee that if one of them was sniffing a special spot or getting up to mischief, the other would be there too, 'partners in crime' I used to call them. They also both loved rolling in the grass, generally doing this at exactly the same time, making me laugh at their obvious pleasure and silliness.

❤️ I am so grateful to still walk his lovely brother Archie, and in my heart Brodie will always be with us on that walk.

🐾 Run free beautiful Brodie, you were loved more than you will ever know, I am going to miss you so much, as will Benji.

Thank you Jill and Steven for trusting me with your wonderful boy for all these years. Sending so much love to you both and to all of your family and friends who loved your special boy. ❤️###

Gorgeous little cockapoo Albi has almost finished his 1-2-1 Puppy Training Programme with me. 🥰

❤️ He is a fantastic wee boy with the most wonderful family. I always love when a new client gets in touch and says that the reason they would like 1-2-1 puppy training is to "give them the best start". That is exactly what Albi's mum said when I spoke with her.

🐾 Albi has been learning so much during his sessions. Next week for his final session we will be bolstering up his focus, engagement and recall.

❤️ When you have a pup that loves to work and engage with their humans, anything is possible.

How beautiful are little cockapoo girls, Sadie & Heidi 😍

❤️ Their lovely mum got in touch because the girls have started getting a bit grumbly with one another over toys. As well as that, gorgeous Sadie may be little, but she pulls like a steam train in a frenzy of over excitement on her walks.

🐾 Even though Sadie & Heidi look completely different, they are actually siblings.

❤️ For those of you who are interested, you can get 2 types of Cockapoos:-
🐾 Our F1 cockapoos are the breeding of a cocker spaniel and a poodle.
🐾 Our F2 cockapoos are the breeding of 2 cockapoo parents.

❤️ Sadie & Heidi are F2 cockapoos, which is why they show such a difference in their type of coat and also their temperaments, it's all due to genetics. With Sadie showing much more spaniel traits than her sister.

They are the sweetest girls and a pleasure to work with. ❤️🐾

How stunning is little Forrest 😍. I absolutely love his name too, it suits him so well!

❤️ Forrest is on my 1-2-1 Puppy Training Programme and doing incredibly well.

🐾 When Forrest's fabulous mum first got in touch with me, she was struggling to get him to calm down at all. She had tried some training techniques that she'd seen online, but nothing worked as he wasn't calm long enough to try.

❤️ So at our first session we put in lots of little strategies and techniques to help Forrest to be in a better position to think and learn.

🐾 What an amazing difference in him when I saw him for our second session last week. Forrest's mum has done everything that we spoke about, and has already seen a big difference. He now wants to train and is so quick at picking up new techniques.

I can't wait to watch their progress ❤️🐾

My wonderful Benji has been a very brave boy today at the .

❤️ He's had a couple of niggles going on for some time now, so today he had a CT Scan on his spine and abdomen to have a proper look.

🐾 We are so very lucky to have such an amazing vet team on our doorstep. Tony and his team are fantastic. And the added bonus for us is that once a month they have a mobile CT scanner on site. So everything today was done with them.

🤞Fingers crossed for some easy results, which we get in about a week.

How beautiful is little cockapoo Rolo! 😍

🐾 Rolo's fabulous mum got in touch as she was having a few issues with his behaviour, and wanted to make sure she was doing the best for her boy.

❤️ When we look at behaviour struggles, people generally ask 'How Can I Fix This'. Which is a very understandable question.

🐾 But for me, the question I ask is 'Why is the behaviour happening'. Because getting to the root of what is causing the dog to behave in a particular way, is when we get real results.

❤️ Dogs will do what works for them, and generally if it gets rewarded it gets repeated. Whether that's something we humans like or not.

🐾 Rolo is still young, so through our reward based training, we are teaching him better choices and alternatives. And because he loves to learn, Rolo and his mum are having lots of fun learning new skills. Which is a win - win for everyone. ❤️🐾

I'm so blessed to be working with so many fabulous puppies just now on my bespoke 1-2-1 Puppy Training Programmes 😍

🐾 Meet beautiful little Tilly. Some of you might be surprised to learn that Tilly is a Miniature Golden Doodle. I think we always expect our Golden Doodles to be...well...golden. But genetics from both sides play a part.

❤️ Tilly is such a sweetheart, and doing incredibly with her training. This week one of the things we focused on was teaching Tilly to keep her 4 paws on the floor as an alternative to jumping up on people.

🐾 It's really natural for our puppies to jump up, but as they get older and bigger, it's much less 'cute'. So teaching them a nice alternative at this age is so beneficial.

I can't wait to watch her progress ❤️🐾

I recently worked with this gorgeous girl and her awesome mum.

❤️ Isabelle, is a kelpie x collie. Who had lost so much confidence since being attacked, resulting in her often choosing to run in fear at the sight of other dogs.

I am so proud of how far she has come. Great work from her mum and dad. And I'm really delighted to receive such a beautiful review. Isn't she just stunning ❤️🐾
