As you may know both my girls wear canine activity monitors, and I think they are a great tool in managing your dog's wellbeing (and incredibly helpful with Monica's rehabilitation after illness and surgery).
I have an opportunity for every existing student to take part in a trail of a new canine activity monitor which you will be able to keep after the test period 😀
In order to run the accompanying app you have to have an iPhone 📱 (the app only runs on i0S at present, and doesn't work on iPad or android).

32degrees in the shade ☹️🌡
Sorry to everyone planning to come to our new Wednesday daytime classes tomorrow but as it is forecast to be even hotter tomorrow I have sadly decided to cancel those classes, as the safety and wellbeing of the dogs is our priority.
The classes are just postponed until next Wednesday, which should be much cooler as the heatwave is thankfully ending before the weekend.
🌞Scorchio!! 🌞
Please check your class times on the website, due to the forecast hot weather we have moved the 1.45 class to 9am this week.
Other afternoon classes will be in the lower paddock which has some shade. Please bring drinking water for you and your dog, and a damp towel for your dog to lay on. Don't forget to take your dog for a dip in the paddling pool, plus we have a water sprayer to help keep everyone cool.
Forecast says it won't be so hot tomorrow - we hope to go ahead with classes but it is vitally important to keep your dog cool. We have a paddling pool for you to give your dog a dip, and a water sprayer to help them keep cool. Please bring an umbrella to create some portable shade for you and your dog, and a damp towel for your dog.
Please make sure to check the website before setting out for your class, as if the heat is too great we will be forced to cancel afternoon classes.
Managed to get a few photos of students working hard on their handling skills yesterday 😀
Massive congratulations to Zoe and young Maverick winning out of G3 at his first show 👏
Fab start to his agility career 😀
Maverick did so much better than expected at his first competitive show, Dog Vegas last weekend. He had several clear rounds, resulting in two jumping and one agility win, so moving up to grade 4 already!!
Thanks must go to Tig for all her help, training and advice over the years, making me a better handler to contribute to the training of this youngster :-)
