Woody is a mischievous, naughty little kitten who is very, very cute. He loves to play and is rarely still. He’s learned to use the cat flap, which is very impressive.

Phoebe and Dottie like their own space, so being in one of our split level pens is perfect for them. Phoebe has claimed the upstairs area and Dottie prefers downstairs. She’s quite feisty, but enjoys relaxing in her sofa.

It’s been a week where we’ve had lots of newbies visiting us, like Otto here. He seems quite happy with his holiday home.

Chino will be going home this afternoon. He’s done very well, but we’re sure he’ll be pleased to be back in his own environment.

First time visitor, Fifi is a happy camper. Nicely settled in and very friendly.

Lyla is little Milo’s companion cat. She’s another beauty.

This little sweetheart is Milo. He looks just like the cat on The Whiskas advert. In fact, that’s because he’s an ancestor of the famous cat.

Theo is a youngster and a first time visitor. He stayed in The Penthouse this week.
27/10/2024
Connie stayed us very recently and came back this week for a further break with us.
27/10/2024
Elsa enjoyed a midweek holiday with us. Initially a little nervous, she soon settled in and had a relaxing time.
27/10/2024
Here we have another Charlie. He’s such a big boy now, but first came to us as a little kitten. We were unsure if he could use the cat flap, but he proved straight away that he’s an expert.
27/10/2024
Dillon and Tobi continue to enjoy their stay in The Garden Suite.

Having been unwell prior to coming to the Cattery, Charlie has had extra special nursing care from us. We are delighted at how well he’s been doing. He’s eating well and is much more perky. We’ve kept his owners informed, so they have been able to enjoy their holiday with minimal worry about him.

Here’s Freddy, such a happy little chap. He enjoys his stays with us as much as we like having him with us.

Before we put up the individual pictures of our guests, we invite you to take a virtual walk with us up the garden. See if you can spot your cat, as they might be one of the ones enjoying a bit of autumnal sunshine.

Hello from us at Birches Cattery. Our Reggie is on duty today, ready to welcome you when you arrive.
Now the nights are drawing in and the clocks have gone back, we will close our doors a little earlier if we have no cats scheduled to be dropped off or collected. This is important for security reasons, as we may be up in the Cattery and don’t want people coming through unexpectedly when it’s dark. Just drop us a line or give us a ring if you intend to come - as long as it’s within our opening hours of course.

Freddie is super friendly and always fun to look after. He likes sitting on the post in his outside area, watching the leaves blowing about in the wind.

Hello from us at Birches Cattery. Take a walk with us up the garden on this lovely warm Sunday and see if you can see your cat sunning themselves in their outside areas. Some have chosen to relax inside in the air conditioned interior. Lucky cats.
Hello from us at Birches Cattery. We took this video earlier in the week when the weather was a bit dim and dismal. Despite this, about half of the cats were in their outside areas looking out on the garden. Maybe you can spot yours.
Gipsy Lane is going to be closed for repairs and resurfacing this week. We will post the information we’ve been given at the end of this week’s pictures. Please ensure you leave extra time for your journey if dropping off or collecting your cats.
