Sadly, I have just lost my beloved Dad. I'm sure you'll understand this is an incredibly difficult time for me.

I'm solidly booked until June so I would struggle to rearrange everyone. Therefore, I feel my best option is to take it a day at a time and work my way through existing appointments.

I know you will all try to support me the best you can. I feel the best way at the moment would be if you could drop off and collect with minimum conversation.
If you ask me if I'm ok, I'll say I'm ok. But you'll know I'm not!

Thank you for your understanding in what is a most upsetting time for me.

☀️☀️ During this hot spell, I'd just like to reassure you that the grooming room stays lovely and cool, being in a shady position. Plenty of fresh water is available at all times, drying will be kept to an absolute minimum, using a cool setting. All dogs will be carefully monitored throughout their appointment for any signs of discomfort. Kathy xx ☀️☀️

🐾 At this current time I have decided to close my books to new customers due to being so busy. This enables me to look after my regular clients better. 🐾

🎄🎅🏻 I know it's only July, but Christmas is booking up fast! 😲 I'm recommending customers to pre-book appointments for the rest of the year to secure your preferred days and times. Limited dates available in December! 🎅🏻🎄

So the guidance has once again changed for us dog groomers. 🙁🤷🏼‍♀️

🐾 If you have already booked an appointment, get ready to hear from me!
I'm spending this weekend postponing some grooms until after the lockdown. If I haven't got in touch with you yet, I will in the next day or so. 🐾

🐾I'm still able to groom your dog if it's heavily matted, has any skin conditions where I could groom under veterinary advice, or if the nails are causing problems, but I would have to make each decision carefully as there are some big fines out there for rule breakers! 🐾

🐾Just keep on brushing and combing those little darlings! 🐶 If you need any help or advice, get in touch.☎️

🐾BUT - If you are unable to keep up with your dogs coat and they're starting to suffer, please get in touch and I'll book them in.
In this wet weather, slight matting one week can easily turn into extreme matting the week after.
Eyes and bums - if you're unable to clear these yourself and you find they're getting sore and causing problems, get in touch.
I may need to take photos to show our reasons for the groom.

The restrictions in place for dog groomers are still quite open to interpretation. Some groomers have closed, some are still open. We all have different situations and different reasons for doing what we think is best. Sending out lots of love to all the local groomers, whether open or closed, confused or clearheaded!! ❤ It's a bloody minefield!🤣

**No new customers will be booked in until I've caught up with all existing customers after the lockdown.**
