November is Pet Cancer Awareness Month.

A time to shine a light on one of the leading health concerns affecting our beloved pets.

One in four dogs and one in five cats can develop cancer during their lifetime, so early detection is key!

Keep an eye out for:
🐩New lumps/lumps that have changed in size or shape/lumps that have started bleeding or are producing discharge.
🐈Weight loss.
🐾Changes in appetite.
🐕 Unusual behaviour.

If you notice anything concerning, don’t wait: book a check-up with your vet.
A timely visit could make all the difference in ensuring your pet gets the care they need.

Time for a medicine cupboard check!

🔍 Look for expired or unused veterinary medicines in your cupboards/household
🗑 Don’t throw them in the bin—dispose of them responsibly!

✅Return them to your Vet Practice.
✅Take them to your local Pharmacy.
✅Keep lid bottles and caps on and do not empty the contents.

Speak to your vet practice if you are looking to dispose of unused/out of date medications!

Jasper came to visit us yesterday for his monthly osteoarthritis injection and it was his 12th birthday! 🎂

Jasper is blind but manages really well at home and his owners work really hard to keep his diabetes controlled with daily insulin injections 💉

Jasper loves nothing more than a good cuddle and to give paw whenever he comes to say hello! We would like to give a huge shout-out to Jaspers owners who manage his diabetes really well at home and do everything they can to keep him happy and comfortable ❤️

⭐NEW SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT⭐

We now have a new district nursing service we are offering to our clients in the Monton, Eccles and Trafford Park Area !

It's our hope that the new at-home nurse clinics will help your pets who feel a little anxious and find it stressful coming into the vets, and offer some support to our clients that have difficulty getting into practice.

General home visit fees are £35 plus the service that you require. Please see below for our at-home clinic fees and please be aware that HPC discounts will be applied.

*At home clinics are not yet bookable online.
