DOG OWNER TIP!!!

If we're lucky enough to get snow this year and you have a pooch that comes home from a walk looking like a giant snowball .... A kitchen whisk is all you need to prevent their coat matting in between grooms.

Transformations!!
Two days, Two 'matted' BEFORE pics and Two 'comfortable and happy' AFTER pics.

Lindsay has done a great job this week and she has taken on every challenge and dealt with it with care, attention and lots of fuss for the doggies. Can't wait for you all to meet her and for her to meet your pooches.

These two beauties don't like being brushed! Their owners try their best but like most of our clients their doggies are their babies so when they moan and groan about being brushed they swap it for snuggles on the sofa and wait for us to arrive to do our job.

Both Albert and Milo bounced around like puppies after their grooms this week!! Feeling footloose and fancy free of their tightly matted coats!!

Comfort is always the priority!!

Help needed!!!

I am having some issues with the swap over of the diaries since Rhian has left and appointments are being missed. Making sure all of rhians appointments have been moved over into my diary hasn't been as easy as I thought it would be.

I feel awful that this transition has not been smoother (I blame the pregnancy hormones and baby brain) but if you are expecting us on a particular day and you haven't received your reminder message the day/evening before.... PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!!

I would rather fit you in on the day you are expecting me (if you have been missed) and work later that day than not show up for your appointment that you have been waiting at home for.

This is a nerve wracking decision. As our family business, it is crucial that we find the right person!!

We are looking for someone who is passionate about dogs, has a confident approach to dog handling and who cares about providing excellent customer service. Must have a full UK driving license and happy to drive a long wheel base van.

Training and experience would be preferred but full training would be provided for the right candidate.

Full and Part time hours available. Days and times negotiable. Potential to earn in excess of £400 per week.

Thank you to our customers for looking after us in this hot weather!!

Heads up.... dogs are not being fully dried during this hot spell as the dryers heat up very quickly and we don't want to overheat the pooches.

If you are not happy with this, please let us know and we can rearrange your appointment for cooler days but please be assured, 5 mins in the garden after their groom and they will be 100% dry without the risk.

It's that time of year again when the weather starts trying to mess with our business and Jack frost likes to freeze our pipes and waterworks!!! Today marks the first day where we can't get water into the van and the pumps are refusing to pump whatever water we do have into our baths....fear not, we don't give up easily!!!

We just want you all to be aware that there may be some delays to your appointments whilst the weather is so cold and on VERY RARE occasions we may have no choice but to cancel the whole day...we will obviously keep you all informed and let you know of any changes and any cancellations will be rearranged for the earliest possible availability.

I was at a styled shoot for my wedding flower business today and the venue owners had 9x 4 week old puppies that I just had to see...thought of you all when I took the pics.

Sorry for the boring but necessary post!

We've had an increasing number of last minute cancellations and 'no shows' recently.

Whilst we completely understand that 'life happens' we would really appreciate 48hrs notice of cancellations and for our customers to be at home when we drive to their house for the appointment.

We always send reminder messages the day before so if, on the odd occasion, the 48hr notice is not possible... please let us know when you receive your reminder if you won't be home.
We can drive 60 miles from each end of our patch/area and to cover that distance and time for a no show is disheartening. 😥

This is our family business and only income so PLEASE think of us if something comes up which makes it impossible for you to attend your appointment.
