Available in our 2 bedroom cottage or flat, both situated close to the yard. You can bring your own horse or use one of ours during your stay. School Holidays
During school holidays, we always run own a pony days or mornings, which are great for children to spend more time with the ponies and learn how to care for them, also includes riding and games. Also lots of other activities for all abilities. Summer Driving and Riding Camp
includes lots of lessons in a variety of disciplines, Le Trec and mini show. As well as evening activities, always lots of fun for all ages!

🐴 we are blessed with some amazing hacking as we have direct access to the Tarka trail alongside our own private woodland and fields.

🐴 Equine therapy sessions for those who would like a quiet, gentle introduction to being around horses

🐴🦄Saturday Morning Pony club 🦄🐴

This week on Saturday morning pony club the kids learned all about the different boots and bandages that we use on our horses and why we use them.
They had demonstrations on how to put the boots/bandages on and then had a go themselves 🤩 they all did amazing!!!

They then spent some time grooming, pampering and even plaiting their ponies ready to ride and off they went for short hack down through our fields and then back into the school to practise their rising trot 🏇 I can’t believe how quickly some of the new children are progressing 🤩 it’s fantastic to see their progress.

It was Such a fun day for all the ponies and children, we enjoyed seeing some new faces at the stables and of course catching up with our regulars 🥰

Another Saturday of fun with our Saturday morning pony club members 🐴🤩

❓We’ve had lots of enquiries this week about children wanting to learn more about the care side of horses aswell as riding so I thought I would share some information on our Saturday morning pony club which would be perfect for those children wanting to get a bit more involved.

Our Saturday morning pony club runs every other Saturday morning and is aimed at children from 6 to 16 years old. It runs from 9.30am to 12pm and costs just £45 each ** discounts for multiple children**

The children learn how to lead, groom, feed, muck out, tack clean, plait, rug and turn out their ponies under the supervision of our instructors (lots of pony cuddles included).

The children also take part in fun activities such as yard treasure hunts, pony arts and crafts, workbook activities such as points of the pony, colours, markings etc 🏵 and much more.

And of course the children get to ride, every session includes a 30 minute ride either a group lesson in the school or a group hack out into our private woodland. 🏇

Wow what a fabulous day we all had on our “own a pony day” it was so nice to see some new faces and some current ones. The children and ponies were all impeccably behaved. We had fun hacking, grooming, mucking out, turning out our ponies In the field, plaiting and finished with a lesson in our outdoor school.
