My name is Caroline Power and I've been grooming dogs for 23 years now, having been one of the first people in the North East to gain the Level 3 Diploma for professional dog stylists. I also hold a Level 3 NVQ in Animal Care, have taught the subject and am now responsible for ensuring internal quality is maintained within the animal care unit I set up over 12 years ago. Grooming to high standards

is my continuous aim and I always ensure dogs are trimmed to breed standard. Every pet deserves to be pampered and there is nothing better than seeing a pampered pet prance about when greeting their owner after a groom.

It’s that time of year again 🧑‍🎄
A lot of you have had your appointments booked for months now , super organised , Thank you for your continued support and your loyalty, very lucky to have some lovely customers , however just wanted to make you aware of the cancellation policy if ever the situation arises.
Please give atleast 48hrs notice, without notice I can not fill your space which brings in a loss of business. If 48 hrs notice is not given then you will be charged your full appointment fee. If you fail to pay the fee then no future appointments will be offered.
I do understand there is some circumstances that are out of control, these will also be taken into account before any charges made .

Hi All, seems like forever since I last posted.😳 as expected there has been an increase in product prices which has resulted in a price increase so please check your groom price with me before payment is made.

Another slight change is that a full groom does not necessarily include excretion of a**l glands, as many dogs do not require this. However, if you require this service you will need to let me know beforehand and as an additional service there will be a nominal fee.

One last thing that I would like to remind everyone of is the cancellation of appointments. As you can understand I am pretty much booked up at least 6-8 weeks in advance, which results in some customers being put off or turned away.

I would ask that everyone please give at least 48 hours notice if needing to cancel, so I can arrange for that appointment to be filled. In most instances I can arrange this, however when less than 48 hours notice is given this results in a customer missing out of an appointment and is a loss to me as a small business

IIf less than 48 hours is given then I will have to apply 100% of the groom cost.

Happy New Year To All ❤️
Hope you’ve all had a fantastic holiday season. Today has been spent making new appointments and February is nearly full.

To start the year off I have decided to close my appointment book to NEW CLIENTS, I am so lucky to have built up an Amazing Loyal Client Base over the past couple of years, So Thank you ❤️
When the opportunity arises I will open up to new clients when availability appears.

The cancellation rule still applies,
if an appointment is to be rescheduled then I ask for atleast 48 hours notice , if this is not given then a cancellation fee is charged at 50% of the groom fee, another appointment will not be offered unless paid in advance. I must admit these are very few and far between however in the busiest of periods it makes a big impact on the day when I work on a one to one basis with your pet.

Hi , just a little reminder in regards to cancellations.
I require atleast 24 hours notice to allow me to fill the appointment, if notice is not given then 50% of the groom fee will be charged. If a future appointment is made then your groom fee will have to be paid 72 hours prior to your groom.
Other charges -
A matting fee of £5 extra on top of the normal groom.
Flea baths are charged at an extra £5
A**l glands £5 on top of normal groom fee

Happy Holidays 😀
My Diary is now full for September and the first two weeks of October.
I know a lot of you have already booked a couple of grooms in already but for those that haven’t please do so.

Appointments are available from October , if you come on 4/6/8/10 week basis then please book in well in advance and especially running up to Christmas as I’m currently running on a 7week wait for an appointment.
