🐶 Now your dogs can choose their driver, choose their walker, schedule a pick up time, request specific treats, choose from a luxurious range of bedding for the journey, request a walking route along with distance & step count, shower or no shower, and finally if you decide to upgrade to our premium app, your dog gets a courtesy FaceTime call with you on their journey home.

💩We’ve all seen the debates on community social media pages about overflowing poo bins, which usually involve the council coming under scrutiny.

💩This week I was angry to find the state of the poo bin in my local walking area exactly the same as a week ago.

💩A week ago I reported it, sending a photo and brief description of its location via messenger to North Lincolnshire Council I heard nothing (it was a Thursday evening and apparently the chat is closed for the weekend) but found the bin to be in the same condition on Tuesday this week.

💩Frustrated, I decided to try an exact location using what3words and reported it again with a photo.

💩Apparently the council messenger chat can’t accept photo links.
To keep it really simple I typed the W3W location and ‘empty poo bin’ into the chat.

☑️Donna logged my request, simple!

💩Guess what, surprisingly the poo bin had been emptied when I turned up today 🙌

💩 It shouldn’t have to get to the point where it needs logging to be emptied, but I guess what i’m trying to say is the reporting process actually worked with relatively minimal fuss.

💩Now I’m not saying it’s going to work every time, but to simplify the process….keep the message simple!

The launch of a new Local Search and Rescue Team for Dogs! 🚨🐕

🐶This amazing team of dedicated volunteers is here to help reunite lost dogs with their families and provide rescue efforts in times of need.

🐶This team will be a lifeline for our dogs when they need it most.

K9 Rural Rangers - Drones and Trapping for Lost Dogs

🙌🏼I am excited to be part of this new professional team🙌🏼

You all remember Ice going missing in January?
And we had help from Drone flyers and trapping just out of the area, having to travel and guide some of us.
Well we have all stayed in contact, and come together as a team, with some of us local and some just out of North Lincolnshire, the area we are, we don’t have a team of SAR for dogs.

So it can get a bit messy for owners not knowing who to call if they have lost a dog around these rural areas.
We are a team of 7, with trapping and drone experts, experienced ground support, knowledgeable dog professionals with handling.
All 7 of us are admins on the page so we won’t miss a message when it comes in.

Over the next few days everyone will be introducing them selves on the page, and the roll they play. And I will pin a post to the top with names and numbers of who to call for what service.

The page at the moment doesn’t have a lot to see as it’s brand new today but we need to get the name out there incase we are needed.

We dog walkers are way nicer people when the sun shines and the mud dries, we may even stop for a chat 😂
The dogs are pretty happy without coats too (it may take us a bit longer to derobe ☺️)

😎 Sunday Funday!! I mean how gorgeous was the weather today?!

😎 I met with Sarah and her two, sibling golden Labradors, Max & Reg for Canicross taster session.

😎 Sarah is a keen fitness enthusiast as is looking to combine a way of keeping on top of her own fitness, exercising her dogs whilst being a busy working mum! We hear you Sarah!!

😎 We tried out lots of kit to see which suited the boys best. They have the ability to be super strong pullers and found they performed best in a harness more suited to their pulling strength.
Sarah got to try out the waistbelts and the game changing ‘hands free’ running experience, which she absolutely loved!!

😎 After some practice and command discussion, Sarah took on running with both dogs together 🙌

🙌 I absolutely know that they will be a dynamic team, and Sarah can’t wait to get started.

With the correct Canicross kit, you can run hands-free, in balance with your dog.

After 4 seasons in 1 day yesterday, I’m looking for positivity, yep it’s there somewhere 🧡

🌟A shining star award (think we should introduce these 🌟) after Trixie absolutely blew me away again with incredible progress on her walks. She’s very nervous of the world in general, but has been super brave and shown consistent ability to conquer some of her triggers.

🌟Yesterday, we walked past several large dogs on the opposite side of the street and one a bit closer. Her focus remained on me 🙌 without her losing her 💩

🌟She’s also been introduced to a few new dogs in a group walk situation, and will now happily share ‘sniffs’ and be around them. Matching dogs with each other to keep walks harmonious takes some practice. Likeminded personalities and an understanding of likes/dislikes are huge factors. Trixie now has a small circle of friends that she’s happy to share her space with. Super proud of her progress with both me, and her mum who is also working consistently with her 🌟🙌.

Hi. We're Fizz and Angie, and we're delighted to be taking on A & B Race Events, previously delivered by Abby. Please bear with us while we work through the details - we’re hoping to bring you several events this year!

To give you a bit of background, Fizz has been a certified DogFit trainer for three years and runs Canicross training & social groups in East Yorkshire (Felicity O'Neill). Angie is part of Fizz’s Welton Canicross crew and handles the technical side of the events.

We can't wait to share updates and meet you all soon! In the meantime, welcome to Trails and Tails Events!

You’ll be glad you’ve got Helen Hogg by your side to get you out of trouble…..once she’s captured it on camera!!! 😂

Kudos you both for getting in some serious training for the event. 65km over 2 days including a nights camping. Maybe pack some travel wash!
