Yesterday we said goodbye to our best friend and first baby. For almost fifteen years he has been our constant, our rock and most loyal little boy. We are absolutely devastated and completely heartbroken.

Bit late to the party but yesterday was national per day and this snuggle bug, Molly and I went on a road trip back up to Lancashire for her groom. We also caught up with her friend Caspar (a white version of herself), and we had dinner with friends Then Molly slept all the way home 🥰

💫🧘‍♀️💫 Less than two weeks away! Come and join FOBS (Friends of Broughton School) for our first adult social event on Wednesday 15th November at 7pm in the school hall. The event is open to anyone outside of school, not just our school community.

💫Pilates Social 💫
What is Pilates? Pilates is a low impact, mind-body exercise that focuses on posture, core strength and stability.

💫What will happen at the event?💫
Coupled with a power ballad soundtrack, Annie our Pilates Instructor will guide us through an hour of fun movement using effective breathing techniques to focus our mind and bodies. To cool down, a glass of fizz (or soft drink) and nibbles will fuel our social finisher. No need to be experienced or familiar with Pilates, come and experience something new and playful. Mats will be provided unless you’d prefer to bring your own. A perfect school night out that ticks all the boxes for £12.

💫 DON’T 💫 FORGET 💫 ME

Hey 👋🏻 busy cracking on over here, seeing your wonderful dogs day in and day out, not forgetting little shorties!

Short haired breeds need regular grooming too and Daphne’s deshed today proves just that. A mud treatment deshed works woonndderrs.

Removal of dull hairs leaves us with a smooth, glossy coat that doesn’t moult half as bad.

We can’t stop moulting but we can alleviate it 💪🏼

I’ve watched him grow and learn and now he’s a mature gent in his prime.

Asking your customer if they’re sad or happy tears….🥹💧

We’re only human and sometimes we get things wrong. Sometimes we get things really right too. Sometimes we miss the mark, sometimes we nail it on the head.

Milo came to see me this week. It was his first groom. He’s a ten month old Cockapoo that hates hairdryers* (*aaaarrrrghhh!!!)

Not a lot was expected for his first visit. He’s not a puppy anymore but his perceptions of these new experiences may phase him.

Fear not. Thanks to some patience, time and high reward treats, we can safely say that Milo isn’t as fearful of hairdryers as we first thought. He had a lot of coat to work with (scroll through to see pictures) and left a big fluffy teddy bear

His guardian sent me a message today still in shock at how soft his coat feels. (And yes, they were happy tears!)

Happy dog, happy guardian and one very happy groomer ❤️
