Every client and their relationship with their dog is unique and requires individual attention and this makes the work as a dog trainer both enjoyable and challenging and keeps me passionate about training.

Free Puppy party to be held 5th February 11am
This is strictly for pups in between vaccines who are not yet out in the big wide world.
This is a behavioural chat on all things pup, from toilet training to mouthing, separation to socialisation.
There is also a controlled, guided play session.
Run by an experienced trainer and behaviourist with over 25 years in business, and ex veterinary nurse.

Ready for the week ahead after a great time with some diverse dogs last week.
We had the feet biters, the car lungers, the fearful, the chancers and the over bold on the behavioural side
This week we have some holiday dogs so new recipe biscuits made
Board and train and 2nd visits for above
The puppy and Manners for life classes give me a light relief
and my down time on the dunes with my own special dogs.

Who doesn't love a puppy class
We have Cosi, Pebbles, Bertie, Bowie and Reggie
My beautiful Weds class
Poor Pebbles, not only is she the smallest shes the only girl..
Week 2 and she showed she's not phased by these boys

Great class , recovering the attention to owner, sit, down and off commands as well as introducing the secret of a great recall and the settle
Learning the importance of not flooding the pup when out practicing in new environment
And starting to introduce the switch off button.

Wednedays Basic Training class minus Ruby.

I'm often asked why I don't put all pups together.
For years ( longer than my 25 training) it's been proven that pups ideally 16 weeks and under need to be separated from these at 6 months.
Think about it ... the difference between a 12 week pup and a 6 month pup is huge... socially, confidence wise and hormonal.
Here we have dogs whose brains are wired so differently than a 12,14 and 16 week pup.

Let's do the right thing by our clients and our dogs

squeezed in 2 more Zoom meetings for new puppy owners 1 in Hayle and 1 in Henley.

New puppy classes and Basic training classes are full for January but the February classes are now open to reserve your places.

1-1 sessions, group walks and home visits are available in January
