Percy, Morris, Alfred & Mike Miskowski the hamster are here on their holidays during the summer break! ⛱️ they’ve been enjoying some pea fishing, box enrichment and having cuddles in the evenings.

Another way to add some fun to your pets play sessions is to add some foraging herbs or treats in some substrate, this can be done directly in their cage, in a cardboard box or tray, hidden in toilet roll tubes or egg trays. This can offer so much fun and keep those noses busy! ⭐️

We are celebrating World Rat Day with lots of cuddles and plenty of treats! Rats are such underestimated pets, but they’ve been apart of my life for many years.
Not only have I been lucky enough to have my own but I’ve fostered and boarded many of your pet rats too. Each rat has been truly special in their own way, with their own personalities and quirks.
I couldn’t imagine my life without my babies, they bring me so much joy every day and have helped me on my hardest days and it’s heart breaking that they have such short lives and are prone to illnesses. They certainly aren’t a cheap pet to keep but it’s certainly worth it.
If anyone is considering rats as pets, please reach out, there are some fantastic rat shows where lots of information is provided and there’s usually always a cuddle corner. Alternatively reach out to your local rescue who can also offer advice.

I’ve decided that I’ll be limiting bookings from April as I’ll be going back to studying around my full time job and I won’t have the capacity to take in as many of your wonderful pets as I’d like, so it may be a little quiet on the page whilst I get into the swing of things, however I’d like to try and avoid closing altogether.
Anyone who has secured a booking already thank you, your pets will still get 100% of my time.
Anyone interested in booking please still enquire.

Many of you may already be aware that there was a huge search and rescue for around 40 rats in the Taunton area, the rescue turned out to be a bigger operation than expected and although many expectant mothers were given medicine to try and stop the pregnancies, many of these rats had litters, this has resulted in over 90+ rats needing new homes and after quarantine, medical care and more these adult and baby rats ( both males and females) will be in need of a home from December.
For anyone following my page that may be looking to add some new additions to their family, please do fill out a form ( link attached). These rats are spread out between fosterers in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
