2143 This lovable 9 year old female is still looking for a new home.

She is great with people and enjoys lots of attention and fuss. Spayed and fully vaccinated

Sadly after being attacked in her previous home and this has resulted in her being fearful of some dogs. . She has been in dog training classes and adapted well without reacting to any dogs in the group. It would benefit her and her new owner to keep up the class environment.

Although 9 years old she is full of beans , takes things in her stride and full of personality. She would love to live in a rural area as she really enjoys being out walking and running around , so needs an active owner. She is also happy to chill out on her own and enjoys cuddles.

If you think you have the perfect home for this lovely girl then please register your interest via the link.

If you are shortlisted and after a successful home check, you will be able to meet her at kennels in Lincolnshire.

Happy Halloween but keep your dogs safe

Beware of Halloween doggy dangers!

It’s not just goblins, ghouls and ghosts you need to watch out for! Chocolates, sweets and decorations could harm your dog, and costumed visitors can stress them out and spook them. Find out how to keep your dog safe: thekennelclub.org.uk/halloween

Labrador Rescue South East & Central

Labrador breed rescue was originally a group of county based volunteers but in 1996 a meeting was convened to create a group of geographical charities including South, East and Central (LRSE&C) which continues to rehome Labradors by carefully matching potential homes with every individual dog. Each potential home is checked just as every dog is assessed, some prospective owners may feel we are too thorough but a cautious approach ensures the greatest chance of successfully matching each dog with their all important, forever home. Dogs come to the charity for many reasons but increasingly as a result of expensive health problems and the charity maintains a welfare fund for assisting with the ongoing veterinary costs of adopted dogs. We support diabetics, arthritics and atopics and have recently enabled Theo to have his broken leg plated and Daisy to visit a specialist eye surgeon to have her in-growing eyelashes corrected.

To do this we need to raise funds and the charity is fortunate to have volunteers prepared to attend events in all weathers to supplement the donations received. Each year we hold a Dogsparty full of fun and games and attended by hundreds of happy, healthy and much loved Labradors. We rehome around 300 dogs a year, and give support to many more.

We will be at Crufts, next to the Labrador show ring, do come and say hello and find out more about what we do and how you can help, please visit our our website www.loveyourlabrador.co.uk
