Today’s Friday Feature is the adorable young Delilah. Like many of our rescue cats she has had a difficult start in life but she has settled really well. She purrs almost all the time and her tail quivers when she is happy, which is often! She loves having her face rubbed and will rise on her back legs for more attention but she’s still not keen on being picked up.

Delilah can be a little nervous of sudden movements but will soon come back for more attention when she knows she's safe. With continued support to build her confidence in her new home, she is going to be a wonderful companion.

Happy Monday everyone! It was another good week for rehoming last week which is fantastic news!

However, as you are all aware there are still so many cats that need homes. We have updated our website today and have added lots more incredible cats that are now ready for adoption! Plus there are still many from previous weeks that are still longing to find their forever homes!

In February we said goodbye and good luck to 15 adult cats and 3 kittens who have gone to their forever homes! Here are a few of the gorgeous cats you have seen on Facebook over the last month that have now been rehomed! Thanks again to everyone who has shared our posts, adopted our amazing cats and supported us in any way!

Happy Monday!! It was a good week for rehoming last week and one of our little beauties has just gone off to its forever home this morning!

Today’s Friday Feature is the incredibly handsome Eric. He was discovered living on an industrial site, where he was fed by compassionate individuals but had not been handled. Fortunately, he is gradually becoming more comfortable around people and enjoys being picked up. He is very playful and loves playing with his toys! Eric gets along well with other cats and dogs.

He will require a home with understanding owners who will help him to grow in confidence.

Today’s Friday Feature is Gucci! He is a very confident kitten with a massive personality. He loves to play particularly with his feather toys and will purr happily. He is becoming a lap cat (when he can sit still for long enough!)

He has so much energy and is extremely lively and therefore needs a family that can meet his energy levels and can give him the attention he deserves.

Today’s Feature Friday is the beautiful Holly, who has had a difficult start in life. However she is slowly gaining in confidence and learning to trust humans. She loves affection and is now happy to be stroked and picked up, although she is still a bit skittish. She is very playful and loves to play with her toys.
Holly needs a home with a patient owner, who will allow her time to continue to grow in confidence.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED

With many cats already in our care and a continually growing waiting list, Thames Valley Animal Welfare urgently need new foster homes to enable us to continue helping as many cats & kittens as possible.

We will provide the cat house, (see pictures), equipment and cover expenses. All you need is a level area in your garden (approx 12ft x 4ft), be a car owner and have plenty of TLC and love to give.

Today’s Friday Feature is the very handsome Frankie! He is a very laid-back cat, who enjoys being picked up for a cuddle. He also enjoys being outside but he has never really been played with so will need some encouragement to do this.

Today’s Friday Feature is Daisy! She is a sweet-natured, calm, affectionate tortoiseshell cat with unusual markings. She had been a much-loved cat by her previous owner but sadly had to come into foster care when they passed away. Daisy has been checked by a vet and is in good health.Daisy is looking for a loving home, where she can enjoy lots of cuddles!For more details please check our website!

Charlie is still waiting patiently to be adopted! Who can resist this handsome young cat? Charlie loves to play as you can see and he loves being close to whatever’s going on. He had been a stray for a long time and had led a difficult life on the streets and was literally scared of everything when he arrived in foster care but over the months, he has gradually improved. He would still benefit from a home with a relaxed, patient owner, who has no expectations of him and once he has settled, is willing to allow him to come and go as he pleases. Here’s Lily who is a gorgeous dark tortoiseshell cat. She arrived in foster care with a litter of kittens who’ve all now been adopted!As you can see she is very friendly and loves attention. Thames Valley Animal Welfare (TVAW) was established in 1983 with the sole aim of rescuing abandoned and unwanted cats & kittens and finding them loving and responsible new homes. Our commitment to this aim has been unwavering over the years and continues to this day.
