Thames Dog training Club The Thames Dog Training Club was founded in 1961 and provides a means for local people to meet and train their dogs in a friendly and fun environment.

Based in the Maidenhead area, we have members from many different towns around the County of Berkshire

Our members vary in age range and span a wide range of professions. We have families, business people, men, women and children who enjoy the wide range of activities we provide,

These include Obedience and Agility. Our two biggest club events throughout the year are:-

Agility

On the seco

nd weekend in June, Thames Dog Training Club now hold the biggest two day Championship Agility show in THE WORLD at the Newbury Showground in Berkshire. (just off junction 13 of the M4)

and

Obedience

On the first week of September we hold the Thames Dog Training Championship Obedience show weekend together with the British Association of German Shepherd Dogs (Southern area) in Ockwells Park Maidenhead in Berkshire. (just off junction 8/9 of the M4)

Good afternoon! We have had some spaces become available at agility training and we would like to recruit some new, very keen members.
We are looking for people who are interested in getting involved as club members and mucking in, setting up and putting away the equipment each week. Thames is not like going to a private trainer where the equipment is already put out! Dogs must be competent on all equipment, and able to run sequences. Handlers must have a good sense of humour!
Training is on Tuesday evenings indoors at Berkshire College of Agriculture, Burchetts Green near Maidenhead
