Dog Walker & Pet Sitter Wanted

We are looking for a new team member asap to help with dog walking and pet & house sitting.

This will be part-time on an ad-hoc basis and possibly a few regular walks each week so I need someone who can be flexible and available Mon-Fri. It will mostly be a.m. & lunchtime walks. Pet & house sitting will be overnight stays whilst owner away and includes 2 walks a day.

Preferably a local, mature person who is fit & active with no dependents or someone who has recently started a pet care business but needs more work. Must have a car (hatchback/estate), experience with dogs and willing to walk in all types of weather. Female only as some dogs are reactive to males, sorry guys!

TUESDAY TRAINING TIP:
Does your dog lack confidence and optimism? Are they worried by anything new they may not have seen before?
These 3 minute games will increase your dogs confidence around novelty:
1. Throw a few bits of kibble amongst some cardboard boxes and let them seek out the food.
2. Choose various objects eg yoga block, large book, cushion that they can step on and see if they can put 2 feet on it - lure forward with food.
3. Select some novelty items your dog has not seen before, scatter some kibble in and around them and see if your dog will seek out the food.
4. Fill a shallow box/container with childrens plastic pool balls and/or recycling items eg cans, plastic bottles with beads/kibble in (to make a noise), silver foil, bubble wrap and throw in some pieces of kibble. See if your dog will seek it out.
Have fun with your dog with the power of GAMES and see the transformation!
