Your best friend is chauffeured in style, in our professionally crated, air-conditioned, pet-friendly vehicles, with individual built-in water bowls, ensuring the highest welfare and safety standards for your dog. 🚗

They are then responsibly let out of the vehicle and kept on leads until they reach a safe walking route. We love exploring different walks around the Romsey countryside, as we believe it’s really important to keep things interesting for your dogs, enriching them with new sights and smells. We are respectful to nature, other people and always ensure we pick up waste in biodegradable poo bags. The dogs really enjoy socialising together either by playing or company which can increase confidence and reduce anxiety. 🌳🐾🐕

After their fun-filled adventure we ensure your dog is clean and as dry as possible, they are then chauffeured back to their home, given plenty of cuddles, lunch or treats, before being tucked into their beds so they are relaxed and comfy at home before we say farewell. 🚿🍖🛌

We are DBS checked, fully insured and trained in dog handling and canine first-aid. We carry dog first aid kits on every walk so are equipped to handle any situation that may arise. 🩺🐾

We had a fab time at the 2024 Petpals Annual Conference. As well as networking with our colleagues from other franchises and head office, the conference provided a range of fascinating and informative topics.

The conference had a lineup of esteemed guest speakers, including Clinical Animal Behaviourist, Claire Arrowsmith from The Pet Behaviour Centre and Veterinary Surgeon, Sophie Bell from Animal Love Pet First Aid. Our host speaker was Berkeley Harris, a global trainer in sales, management and leadership, who helped drive a day aimed at enhancing both practical pet care and business skills.

🐾🎄 With the holiday season upon us, it's important to make sure our furry friends stay safe and happy! 🎅🏼🐶 Here are some tips to ensure your pets have a paws-itively wonderful Christmas:

🔌 Keep an eye on decorations: Make sure your festive decor is pet-friendly! Avoid decorations that could be harmful if chewed or ingested, and secure wires to prevent any accidental shocks.

🍬 Mind the treats: While indulging in holiday goodies, remember that some human treats, like chocolate and mince pies, can be harmful to pets. Keep them away from the temptation and opt for pet-friendly treats instead!

🎆 Beware of fireworks: Loud noises from fireworks and celebrations can stress out pets. Create a safe and quiet space for them to retreat to if needed, and consider using calming aids if your pet gets anxious.

🚪 Secure exits: With guests coming and going, be mindful of doors and gates to prevent pets from slipping out unnoticed. A collar with updated ID tags and a microchip can be a lifesaver if they happen to wander off.

🌺 Toxic plants: Poinsettia, Mistletoe, Holly, Ivy & Lilies are all poisonous to pets. When decorating or receiving flowers and plants during the holiday season, make sure they are placed well out of reach of curious pets.

🎁 Gift safety: Keep an eye on gift wrapping and packaging—ribbons, strings, and small toy parts can pose choking hazards. Opt for pet-friendly toys and gifts to keep the holiday spirit fun and safe!

Although Alabama Rot is rare, it has been reported around Wi******er, The South Downs and The New Forest. Familiarise yourself with the symptoms to look out for and be sure to clean any mud off your dog after a muddy wooded walk.

Signs to look out for include: Skin sores and ulcers, visible swelling, red patch or skin defects not caused by a known injury.

If you suspect your dog is showing symptoms please seek veterinary advice immediately.

Given the bad weather, its possible he may have sheltered in a shed/garage etc. Please do let us know if you spot him so we can let the owner know.
