We have had a young black kitten brought in to us found in the Chepstow area. The kitten is injured and is receiving treatment. If you are missing a black kitten please call us on 01291 624090.

With temperatures rising to 26 degrees Celsius today & tomorrow, it is worth knowing ‘how hot is too hot’ for your dog - as a dog never died from missing a walk, but they can die from heat stroke!

We did it! After our Dalmatian themed Severn Bridge walk today, we have smashed our target and have raised over £1400 for the Highbeech Roundabout Defibrillator Appeal 👏🏼
We would like to thank everyone for their unbelievable support throughout our fundraising campaign & we would like to let everyone know that we will be ordering the defibrillator tomorrow - so it will be fitted as soon as possible for the community 🙌🏼☺️

In light of the recent road accident that happened on Highbeech roundabout in Chepstow across the road from our practice, the team here are fundraising in order to have a life-saving community defibrillator, installed at High beech roundabout.

As temperatures start to rise, we need to take care when walking our dogs. It is best to avoid exercising your dog in warm temperatures if you own a brachycephalic breed (French bulldogs, Pugs, English Bulldogs etc) or if your dog has a heart condition.

Dormouse release up her favourite tree in Chepstow Park woods. Her owner brought this little dormouse in, found by Gracie the Labrador, in a sorry state. She was quickly nursed back to health on a diet of chopped hazel nuts, blossoms, apple (quite fussy on variety) and the occasional grape. Her weight quickly went up from 13g to 21g. We had to wait for the weather to improve then released her back up the same tree she was found beneath.

Two veterinary nurses have been lauded for their 'outstanding' heroic actions that helped to keep a man alive following a crash in Chepstow today.
