Granite City Photography - IMPORTANT
I have lost all images taken on FRIDAY 😔
I went in to start some editing last night and the images have corrupted, I don’t know how it’s happened, it’s never happened to me in 14 years. It was a brand new hard drive that they were transferred on to and I can only assume that the drive is faulty.
I worked until 2:30 this morning trying to recover them, but it’s beyond my capabilities it seems. I won’t give up trying to get them back and will take it to an IT professional on Monday.
HOWEVER - If anyone who came to see me on Friday and is still at the show today and could pop back to see me I would love to re-shoot as many as possible, I will be on site by 10am.
Alternatively if you are no longer at the show and can’t come to have the images taken again, please contact me through my business page Hannah Paterson Photography or email me at [email protected] so that I can issue you with a refund.
I’m so sorry and I cannot apologise enough.
If you know anyone that had images done on FRIDAY and they maybe don’t have social media or may not have seen this post can you let them know so they know to come see me or to get in touch for a refund. Help with this is much appreciated.

Congratulations to the winners of the Granite City Thistle Cup! It was great to see so many great partnerships.
Many thanks to our generous sponsors, Millie’s Paws, who provided the fabulous hampers.
Sincere thanks to our judge this year, Jacqui Tarn.
Also, a reminder that those placed first at each height are invited to have a photograph taken by Hannah Paterson, to put in their winner’s photo frame.
Thanks also to the audience who braved the rain, as it came on towards the end of the event, many of whom stayed on for our entertainment evening.

The Final will take place after close of the main show on Saturday 20th July.

CATERING & STALLS (including food on Thursday evening!) and Saturday evening entertainment
We have the following catering over the weekend.
JP’s Kitchen will be with us each day. Good news for campers is that they plan to serve food this evening (Thursday) from 5-6pm! Also, they plan to stay open till about 6/7 on Friday & Saturday.
Sally's coffee van will be there on Saturday and Sunday.
Let The Fun Be Gin will be with us on Friday and Saturday, from about 11am. They are kindly donating a prize again this year. There will be Doggy Bingo and a Doggy Quiz by the marquee on Saturday evening, after the Thistle Cup. £4 per person. Get your teams organised!

If you are coming to the show, from Aberdeen (North of Brechin), there are roadworks from Hillside along to Stracathro. It's down to a single lane with a 50 mph speed limit, so is causing some tailbacks.

Neary there!
🕰️Please do not arrive before 2pm, unless this has been previously agreed with the committee.
📌See attached site plan, and please note that, as there are 4 rings on Friday, we will be using the four rings nearest to the marquee, and so rings 4 & 5 will be numbered 3 & 4 for the day.
🏕️On arrival, we will help to direct you to the relevant camping area, and please let us know if you have any particular requirements. We have not allocated specific spaces, so if you would like to be beside someone specific, please try to arrive together.
📌See attached list of judges, scrimes, ring parties - many thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help, and if you have some spare time between runs, we would be grateful to anyone who can help out.

Hannah Paterson Photography will be at the Granite City DAC show next weekend (Friday 19th - Sunday 21st July).
⭐️ Sessions are £10 per dog.
⭐️ One digital image will be included, which can be selected from an online gallery after the show. The gallery will be available by Thursday the 25th of July.
⭐️ Payment must be made at time of session.
⭐️ Hannah will have her card machine, but please be prepared with cash, as the signal can be intermittent.
⭐️ Available 10am - 4pm, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
⭐️ Hannah will aim to take her lunch break 12-1 each day to see to her own dogs, and will try hard to stick to these times.

Congratulations to those who have qualified for the final of the Granite City Thistle Cup!

It will take place, at the end of the day, at the Granite CIty DAC show, on Saturday 20th July 2024, at Brechin Castle Showfield, Angus. DD9 6RL.

Due to the cancellation of SBCC, we have invited the top three dogs at each height from the remaining qualifiers.

Finalists will be contacted by email. If you have not already confirmed your intention to compete in the Final, please send an email to [email protected] by 7th June to confirm this, or message the page. If you do not plan to attend, or do not reply by this date, then your place will be offered to the next placed partnership in the class.

If your dog has qualified more than once, ie at any subsequent shows, you will not receive a separate invitation, and the place will be rolled down.
