We are unable to offer 1:1s or obedience classes. Handlers and dogs train in groups.

🐾 Many thanks to everyone who came along today, to the last Granite City DAC show of 2025! We’ll be back in February, with the last chance to add some Primrose points before the final in March. (I’ll share the updated totals as soon as I can.)
📌It was great to have our numbers at capacity, and we hope you all enjoyed your day.
📌Many thanks to Dodo Venn for lovely courses, even though, for the second year running, Finn proved he can’t go through a tunnel unless I actually TELL him it’s a tunnel! 🙄 🤣
📌Thanks to all the support from club members - and anyone who helped with pole picking, course changing etc.

FUN SHOW - SUNDAY 9th NOVEMBER
📌Tomorrow is Remembrance Sunday and (as we did last year) to mark this, the fun show will pause at 11am for a minute’s silence to honour and respect all those who have made a sacrifice in the World Wars, both humans and animals.Your cooperation with this would be much appreciated. Thank you.
📌I have attached Dodo Venn’s courses and rules to this post.
📌The show opens at 8.15am. Club members, judge, helpers, stall holders can arrive from 8am (gate will not open for us before then).
📌Order of classes is as listed on the schedule. As for our October show, we will start with Grade 1-3. Checking the results on Showtime will give an indication of how quickly we will get through the classes. This month, we are starting on Intermediate (IMSL).
📌Although most stall holders accept electronic payments, please bring some cash, just in case.
📌Cafe will be open from 9.30am

📌 Our judge is Dorothee Venn
📌 Each entry gives you 4 runs. Three of these will be on separate courses (split 1-3 & 4-7), with one grade 1-7 class in the middle of the day. PLEASE SEE THE SCHEDULE FOR FULL DETAILS OF CLASSES AND GRADE SPLITS. Classes run in order on schedule, starting with Intermediate for the November show.

Thanks so much to everyone who came along to our fun show today. A very special shout out to Ollie Turnbull, who we were lucky enough to have for her first judging appointment! There were lots of compliments about her courses throughout the day.
We were pleased to receive positive feedback about our new format, with having separate courses for Grade 1-3 / 4-7, with a 1-7 (split results) in the middle.
Our schedule for the 9th November should go live soon.
I thought I was going to escape at the end of the day, with no lost property to take away, but no such luck 🤣 Does anyone recognise their flask? Luca says she likes the colour!

🐾Fun Show - Sunday 19 October🐾
We can’t wait to welcome you to our first fun show of the season tomorrow!
As per the schedule, we will be starting (on Large) with Grade 1-3 courses, the Grade 1-7 agility, then Grade 4-7 courses. We will try to let people know how we are progressing through the classes, but you can also keep an eye on this by looking at the results on Showtime.
Attached are Ollie’s courses (though, as always, we reserve the right to adjust them on the day if necessary).
We are delighted to have the following stalls at the show. Although most will accept electronic payment, it is always a good idea to bring cash.
