FUN DOG SHOW BOOKING IN

Here is our online booking for our next FUN DOG SHOW on Sunday 19th April to save you from queuing up on the day.

⭐️Don't worry, we will still have our booking-in table and you can also enter into further classes on the day.

It costs £2 to enter each class.

⭐️Each class has it's own payment link, so all you need to do is choose your class, when given the option to leave us a message, just add your dogs name, then make the payment.

⭐️You will then receive an email response thanking you for booking your dog in. Keep this handy, as you may have to show it when entering into the dog show arena on the day.

It's our Spring Fair and Fun Dog Show this Sunday at Lydiate Parish Hall. We hope that you can make it along. It will be a great day of dogs, cakes, stalls, food, more cakes and fun.

All funds raised on the day help the animals at the sanctuary and rescue more in need. 🐾

Just another date for your calendar. 📅

The first Fun Dog Show of 2026 to start us off. 🎉

Lots of great stalls, inside and out on the field, from tombolas, raffles, gifts, clothes, fabulous refreshments, cakes, savouries and BBQ (All Vegetarian with lots of Vegan options) pet stall, booking in and much more.

The West Lancs Dog Display Team will be hosting the 10 class fun dog show as well as performing their dog agility. 🐕 🐾 🥅🏆

We will launch the option to book in the classes nearer the time. Watch this space.

Hello Moss Cottage clients and your humans!
We hope you’re all well.

As you may be aware, we are currently making some temporary adjustments while we find the perfect person to look after all things Moss Cottage. We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we transition into our next chapter.

Going forward, we would ask that you please communicate with us via our Moss Farm page.
We will have a new mobile number going live very soon — we’ll post on the page as soon as it’s set up.

Booking status updates:
Our spaces are now fully booked until the end of January. We have very limited availability in February, March, April, and May, then are fully booked again in June.
At present we have limited availability in July and August.
We appreciate that this may make some of you want to rush to secure some of this limited availability, but due to the demands on our team we would ask you please to be patient if you possibly can. We aim to bring all 2026 bookings up to date in January.

Out of loyalty to our existing boarders and given the limited availability we do have, we regret that we are not currently able to accept new clients. When space does become available, we will prioritise our existing customers first.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience these changes may cause. Please rest assured though, that the standards of love, care and personal service your dogs receive from us will never change. We remain committed to maintaining the highest standards and the most professional care at all times.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this period. We’ll keep you posted on any further changes or updates. We look forward to seeing our regular clients soon for their holidays with us.

It’s been an utterly heartbreaking few days at the rescue. Sleepless nights, tears, and so much worry.

Meet Majestic, our newest momma bear. At 9 years old and heavily pregnant, she was cruelly dumped by her owner. She arrived with us scared, stressed, and ready to give birth. On Saturday, she went into labour. She delivered 6 puppies naturally, but heartbreakingly, 2 were born with their angel wings.

Majestic began to struggle, and we rushed her to the vet. There, she delivered 8 more puppies, tragically, only 2 survived. In total, 14 babies... and only 6 made it.

Majestic is now recovering, but she’s utterly exhausted. Of the 6 puppies, only 3 are feeding well. The remaining 3 are being tube-fed by our incredible friends at Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary. Thank you, Steph and Belinda, for stepping in.

We’re still holding our breath. The days ahead are critical. We pray mum and babies pull through, but we urgently need your help.

The emergency vet bill is large and unexpected, and we’re struggling. There’s no rainy day fund in rescue. We run day to day, crisis to crisis, doing everything we can to save lives. Right now, we need our community more than ever. If you can give anything at all, it would mean the world to us.

A heartfelt thank you to our vets, to Cathy who has stayed by Majestic’s side, and again to Rescue Me. Losing any life is devastating but losing 8 in one night is soul-crushing.

Please, stop breeding irresponsibly. This is the reality. So much suffering, so many resources drained. SPAY your pets. Educate your children. This doesn’t need to keep happening.

Majestic didn’t deserve this. Her babies didn’t deserve this. We can do better.
