Kacey’s Bar (Citrus Centre, Playa Flamenca) will be donating 10% of the proceeds from their weekly quiz (their Bingo game called Murphy’s Mayhem) to APAH. This is in memory of one of their regulars, Elaine, who recently passed away. Thank you so much. This will really help us to continue our valuable work.

On Christmas Eve 2023, APAH's cats moved into their brand new home, just outside Pinar de Campoverde, close to Pilar de la Horadada. The small group of dedicated volunteers desperately need more people to help care for the cats. Update: A good news story for a sunny Sunday morning! He has a new, loving home. Here is what Julia has to say:

“I saw this post and I remember thinking how difficult it was going to be to rehome him. I thought about him all day and told my husband who I knew would feel like me. We enquired about him then went to see him and he's now at home with us in Lo Pagán. He shares his new home with 2 little dogs too. We've discovered he's the most affectionate little cat you could imagine. He is very playful and loves his toys. He's inquisitive, cheeky and full of character. He loves sleeping on the bed, I'd like to share the next part of his journey. I saw this post and I remember thinking how difficult it was going to be to rehome him. I thought about him all day and told my husband who I knew would feel like me.
We enquired about him then went to see him and he's now at home with us in Lo Pagán. He shares his new home with 2 little dogs too. We've discovered he's the most affectionate little cat you could imagine. He is very playful and loves his toys. He's inquisitive, cheeky and full of character. He loves sleeping on the bed, in the laundry basket and always finds the sunniest place in the house. He's wonderful and I'm totally in love with him.
We hope to give him so much love he forgets the difficult start he's had. We've also learned that the way to a cat's heart is cheese ❤️

If you think you could give a loving home to any of the other cats waiting for their forever home, go for it. The love flows both ways. in the laundry basket and always finds the sunniest place in the house. He's wonderful and I'm totally in love with him. We hope to give him so much love he forgets the difficult start he's had. We've also learned that the way to a cat's heart is cheese ❤️

This poor boy was found in a bad way, dumped outside our charity shop, along with another cat (thought to be his mother), in November. The other cat was gravely ill and, unfortunately, had to be put to sleep. He is 2 to 3 years old, responding well to treatment and will be ready for adoption soon. He is extremely loving and friendly. Everyone who has been looking after and caring for him have fallen in love with him but, unfortunately, they cannot take him home. Please contact us if you think you can provide a loving home for this deserving boy. Thank you.

We are appealing for a forever home for Nera. She is 9 months old, is very affectionate, obedient and playful. She gets on with other dogs and with cats, is fully house-trained and knows how to walk when on a lead. She had previously been kept chained up and was going to be used as a sparring partner for fighting dogs. She is sterilised, fully vaccinated and has had all of the necessary tests undertaken. She is chipped and ready to travel. Please consider giving Nera a loving home, she certainly deserves it. For more information, please message us. Thank you.

This little kitten needs a home. Her name is Miau and she is four months old. She was on the street and an elderly lady took her in. Unfortunately, Miau keeps getting under the lady’s feet and she has fallen over (more than once) as a result. Introducing our trio of three kittens, ready for adoption. All from the same litter, they were rescued at 3 weeks old, when a man stopped a dog attacking them. Coco (black and white) had her left ear ripped off and Manny (tabby) had a big hole punched into his side. At 3 weeks old, it was a miracle that they all survived such a ferocious attack. They came into our care and are now fully vaccinated. Coco has been spayed and Manny and Ruddy (black) will be castrated soon. They are loving and full of energy. Coco is the boss and Ruddy is the quiet one. Manny falls somewhere in the middle! Why not arrange to come and meet them?
