SHAMPERS DOG GROOMING

Shampers is a local friendly dog grooming service based in Brampton, Huntingdon offering professional dog grooming. To further my experience in the grooming industry I volunteered for a year at a local salon where I met a wide variety of dogs with different temperaments, this helped me learn a vast amount about working with animals. I am First Aid Trained for dogs and have

attended dog behavioural classes. I believe that in order for your dog to enjoy the experience as much as possible then a crate free environment is a must whether that is a cage dryer or your general crate. I work from home so your dog will have a home from home experience having free roam of the house until it is time for their groom. When your dog comes to Shampers you can expect a professional friendly approach with no corners cut. Your dog will have a one to one experience throughout the whole of the groom, unlike some large named companies where your dog can have 3 different people grooming them at one time, a lot of dogs find this situation difficult to cope with. I use high end products with no harsh chemicals. Customer record cards will be filled out before and after every visit to ensure that the experience is tailored to your dog. I have groomed many dogs and really enjoy what I do. There is nothing more rewarding watching the owners face light up when they see their pooch looking beautiful and of course very cute. It is also rewarding when a nervous dog comes here and walks out smiling and their tail wagging. All sizes and breeds are always welcome.

Ok, here it goes…..

This little boy needs your help. Henry is 9 years old you may of seen him around the village or in the co op shop buying his fruit. Henry suffers with Duchenne muscular dystrophy in short it is a wasting mucscle disease. Around this time last year Henry could walk but now he has to be in his wheel chair. It is absolutely heartbreaking to watch and see this disease make his muscles weak! Henry loves to spend time outside but unfortunately the wheel chair he has now his no good. Henry now needs an electric chair that he can use to go outside and can be used on different terrain. Unfortunately anything with the word disability before it, the price just goes through the roof 😢 so this is where Henry needs your HELP. He truly is just such a special boy and should not miss out on spending time outside. Henry has a go fund me page, please feel free to have a nosey.

Hi everyone
Unfortunately Shampers will be closed untill further notice. My hubby is still unwell and we are still fighting for me to work again. I am trying my best to fight this, so please keep fingers crossed for us. Thank you all so much for your continued support it really does make a difference. Xx

Hi everyone! Happy New Year!

Just a quick update. The operation I was supposed to have yesterday has been moved to the 24th January. We are also still waiting back to hear if I can start work again on the 20th January. Please just bear with me while we get through this tricky period. I’ll be in touch with anyone who has made a booking individually.

I’ll try my best to keep you all updated so keep watching hear for posts.

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to you all for the flowers, chocolates and messages of support it has been overwhelming and has really helped to not feel alone in this horrible time we are going through. I’m hoping to be back at work around 20th January (I will keep you updated if this changes) as I need a few weeks to recover from my operation.

I sincerely wish you all a very merry Christmas 🎄🎄may your blessing be more and your troubles be less for 2025 please give all your doggies a big squeeze from me ♥️🐾♥️

Good morning everyone

It’s been a while since I have posted anything on here. I have been receiving messages asking me if I am ok as I have not been posting my lovely pictures on Facebook. My family and I are going through a really rough time atm so I have decided I’m going to take the rest of the week off as I need to look after myself and my family. I understand that I might lose customers but I can’t look after my husband, my family, work and just crack on, trustme I have tried. Believe me it’s taken a lot for me to post this so publicly but I have had so many messages asking if I’m ok. I hope you all understand and are keeping well.
