A special message from Kennel 22 .... 💖

When you come to visit us in our kennel, we may stay in bed, or we may run to the back to hide, or we may even bark at you to leave us alone … we’re sorry we do this, we just feel too scared to come and say hello to you … we hope you can understand that. You see, we haven’t been given a lot from humans in our lives, so we’re not very sure of your intentions. In time I’m sure we’ll realise we’re safe and you’re not going to hurt us, but that will take time. We just need to be shown a lot of unconditional love and kindness, and we need you to not give up on us .. even if times get tough and you feel like we’re not getting any better .. I promise we will 😔
