We have spaces available for handlers on our simulated clay day at the fabulous Bintree Mill in Norfolk.
This is a stunning private estate, with fantastic views, and used in the TV programme Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.
Get yourself season ready with a great warm up on a simulated day, that is a close to the real thing as possible .

Sit your dog up during drives and pick set out retrieves at the end of each drive on a fantastic bit of ground.
Get you dog season ready with this fantastic warm up.
Price per handler is £95
This includes a spectacular lunch by the river.

What a busy weekend!!!
Had a very kind invite on the rabbits up North on Saturday which meant a 4am start 😴
Had a fantastic day in a very beautiful part of the country.
Another very early start on Sunday morning to travel from North to South, to be Steward of the Beat at the UGS HBB Open Walked Up test in sugar beet, where I ran the line and set the throwers.
I must say what a fantastic team we had available to us, and what a very well organised day by Harriet Newcombe and the UGS HBB committee.
The standard of dogs was very high, and a very worthy winner was found in Andy Cooper.

Andy mentioned in his speech that he doesn’t know of another sport where people give up so much of their own free time so others can compete.
I think he is spot on, and the team of throwers we had were fantastic!
I also think it is very important to put back in to the sport as much as we can, and not just take.

This whole weekend I have had the support from Sylvie who was a hot shot on the rabbits, a top chauffeur and helped me immensely to run a smooth test on the Sunday.

Yesterday we ran a Gundog Test based on picking up exercises for any breed, in conjunction with BASC East

We had a fantastic day, with 3 tests. Test One in to grass to pick 3 dummies, test 2 was a duck drive on a lake, and test 3 was heelwork and 2 retrieves for the retrievers and a hunt up for the spaniels with a sneaky bolting rabbit.

We also ran a scurry which raised £100 for a local charity.

We are extremely grateful to the landowner, and to BASC for supporting these events with their sponsors Sporting Saint - Gundog Training Equipment and Skinner's who provided prizes.

Thank you to my fantastic team and all our kind helpers.
