"After a few too many overnight disappearances, we decided it was time to track Bobby’s patterns more closely. We invested in petTracer, the collar never bothered him which was great. and I’ve used it several times to find him when he stayed out too long always successfully.

But one morning in July, Bobby came home without the collar.

I panicked. But I emailed the support team and they helped us track the last GPS location. I set up the HomeStation and went searching.

The tracker had dropped off in one of Bobby’s favourite spots, a dense wooded area behind our house where GPS is patchy. But thanks to the Radio signal, I was able to get within range. I couldn’t see the collar at first, but I activated the beeper and heard it right away!

It had landed just over a fence in a neighbour’s garden. I retrieved it, and now Bobby’s reunited with his tracker and I can relax again knowing I’ll always know where he is."

Martha is semi-feral. She was dumped near a busy road as a kitten and survived on her own for the first six months — until Robin found her and gave her a home.

“She’s a lovely cat, but that feral imprint is still there. Last summer, Martha disappeared for five weeks. We had no idea where she was. We were heartbroken, thinking we’d lost her — but then one day, she just reappeared.

So when she moved out again this summer to a field just 300 yards from the house, we were happy to let her have her freedom — because we could follow her movements and go spend time with her.

When Allison’s 90-year-old grandad went on holiday, she used the time to try something he’d always been a bit hesitant about: putting a collar on their outdoor cat, Covey.
