We are so sad to say goodbye to Ruby.
Ruby was a sweet, gentle girl who never said no to cuddles, treats or walkies.
She was the special friend of her human's grandaughter, who will really miss her.
Ruby will be missed by her humans, and everyone who knew her.
"Watch out, Bailey, here she comes!"

Hi all. A good friend has told me about this post that is on the Ridge page. The person says:
"Anyone know who walks a collie around Somerset Avenue?
This dog whilst off the lead yesterday ran towards our dog, growled and tried to bite my dog who was on a lead)
My daughter picked our dog up and the collie persisted to try to get to our dog and bit my daughter several times in the process.
The man eventually pulled his dog off and walked away without checking on my daughter, dog or apologising
Just wanted to make other dog walkers aware."

Hi everyone. First of all, WE ARE FULLY BOOKED for 2025/26.
As you know, I have been trying to slow down at Hotel Hattie in regard to how many dogs stay at any one time, and save some time for Jakey and I to have some time to ourselves.
Both of us are now OAPs, and both have had some health issues recently that have given us pause for thought.
As the main issue preventing the slowdown is my problem with saying no, I have had to have a real talk to my self. The one that could work is for us to limit bookings to single households, and I will start this system for/from 2027.
Knowing me, it will not be a hard and fast system, but that will be the basis of future bookings.
Love and hugs to everyone, no matter how many legs you have...

I have just been told of an horrific attack by an XL Bully on one of Hotel Hattie's most loved guests. Whilst he is improving, he and his family have had an horrendously traumatic experience. The aggressor has been destroyed, and the police are involved. This is to show that this is still a big issue, and that we must all be vigilant when walking our dogs. Lhina x

Sadly saying goodbye to Millie, a beautiful cream Goldie. Milliebob was best buds with Mollybob, who went on ahead over the Rainbow Bridge to get their dog beds in the sunniest spot.
Millie was a calm, kind and affectionate girl, beloved by her family. We send much love to them all.

With a full heart, we say "Goodbye" today to Molly / Big Moll / My Head Girl, always looking after new guests and keeping an eye out for any naughtiness. Our love and deep sympathy to Phil and Maggie, who gave Molly her best life. We will miss you dreadfully, Moll.
