CAN YOU HELP? We are seeking outdoor/stable/mouser placements for some feral, outdoor cats.

While they can be excellent mousers, every worker needs the energy to do so! Cats will need at least supplementary feeding, access to fresh water and a place to shelter. They will need somewhere to be enclosed for a short time initially, to prevent them becoming lost after their move e.g. Shed, garage, stable, barn.

**All cats relocated as mousers are neutered and health checked**

🌟 Exciting Weekend Alert! 🌟

Daisy & Duke are seeking an outdoor home as top quality mousers anywhere in Northern Ireland 🐱🤗

These two young cats are in need of a safe place to live, and do not need access indoors. They are very skittish, so would prefer to live outdoors. They just need somewhere to shelter, a little supplementary feeding and a secure place to enclose them for a short time initially to settle e.g. Garage, barn, stables.

These cats are young, est 6-8 months, and will come neutered, flea worm treated, vet checked and with a one off vaccination.

URGENT APPEAL - Outdoor mouser cats currently in unsafe living conditions seeking placements on farms/stables/countryside homes ANYWHERE IN NORTHERN IRELAND🐱🐭

We have a number of cats urgently seeking relocation in NI. In return for top quality, all natural pest control they just need a place to shelter, a little supplementary feeding (can't do top quality work without a little lunch!) and a safe outdoor environment to hunt in. They will need enclosed in a secure garage/barn/stable for a short time initially to prevent them becoming lost.

Our mousers are all neutered, parasite treated, FIV/FELV viral disease tested and fully health checked to be relocated in prime condition for effective pest control.

Thank you so much to everyone for your generous donations of cat food into our Crawfords, Maghera and JC Stewart, Magherafelt food collection bins!

We use this food to benefit local cats - we use it as bait during trap neuter return and feeding cats post-surgery, as well as we support some local colonies of (now neutered!) cats who's carers were struggling to feed them.

So thank you so much again to our local supporters!

Volunteer Champions 🦸‍♀️🦸
Volunteer champions help spread the word about our work, as well as support volunteer recruitment and induction among other things. This is a primarily home-based role and is flexible in time to fit around existing commitments. You will develop new skills, expand your knowledge, and make a significant contribution to improving the lives of cats and kittens in need by supporting our work on the ground. You will also meet new people and be part of a dedicated team!

Trap Neuter Return (TNR) 🐮🐷🐱
This on the ground, hands-on role is absolutely vital - neutering of unowned feral and farm cats drastically improves the lives of cats, by preventing unwanted kittens which can easily turn into large colonies. We are particularly focused on rural and farm cat TNR in the Maghera, Tobermore and Tamlaght O’Crilly areas at present. All training, equipment and expenses are provided for this role.

These cats will provide all natural, high quality pest control services in exchange for supplementary feeding and a place to shelter. These cats are neutered, flea worm treated, disease tested and receive a vaccination to ensure they are top hunting condition 🐈🐁

They will need: 🐱
- At least supplementary feeding (every worker needs a lunch to work efficiently!) and access to fresh water
- A place to shelter e.g. barn
- A place to be kept inside for a short time initially e.g. shed, stable, barn... (this time inside is needed to prevent them becoming lost on release)

Welcome to the Cats Protection - Moyola Rural Cat Project!

We are a small team working in the Maghera/Tobermore/Tamlaght O'Crilly areas of Northern Ireland, primarily aiming to assist with the neutering of feral/farm cats.

Trap Neuter Return (TNR) provides farms with a stable, healthy population of hunters unable to breed - unburdened by the many unwanted kittens, and feline diseases associated with breeding cats. Once neutered, farm cats only have one thing to focus on - the hunt! 🐭🐱

Or perhaps your farm could use a few more pest control officers? 🐱🐮🐷
If you could provide shelter and a little supplementary feeding to a farm cat or two (or more!), we often have farm cats in need of a new place to call their own. This all natural form of pest control is top quality, and cats come neutered, disease tested, flea worm treated, vet checked and come with a vaccination to be top quality mousers. We are able to provide working mousers to anywhere within Northern Ireland.

This tabby and white cat was found at the Magherafelt filling station, beside Lidl, on Wednesday.
