We are enjoying Towan Beach so much that we ended up there again today.
A wonderful couple of hours, met more lovely folks, picked up bits of plastic from the shoreline and collected more wood.

This was the River Dart this morning, an incredible sight - though apparently it's the worst that locals have seen. #riverdart
After 3 days of cold weather, we've had over 12 hours of torrential rain.
We woke to the thunder of the river - quite incredible to experience.

We lost 2 of these lovely girls yesterday shortly after this video.
They would sneak into the house whenever possible and just after shooing them out, we were aware of 2 unknown shabby lookng terriers in the garden. We think they were stragglers from the local Boxing Day hunt.
If only we had known, we would have closed the gate. The track is a public byway and the chickens would not have stood a chance with a pack of dogs. Poor little chums - we are feeling very sad. π₯π₯

We have always had a romantic dream of an open fire blazing away in the huge fireplace of a thatched cottage and snuggling down with a beautiful furry chum...well that's where we're at right now and it doesn't disappoint!
We are so incredibly grateful for each and every house and pet sit that come our way and to be invited back, again and again.
We absolutely love this life!
