But basically had an amazing time. The stay was definitely worth it. Took home alot of valuable information. And had a great mini holiday too 😁
Sent my filly up to Will's to be started. Stayed for 3 nights in one of the new bungalows. Had lessons every day with my girl and left feeling really confident bringing her home. She's been amazing since getting her home and is taking everything in her stride.
Would really recommend staying for a few nights. The bungalow is very nicely finished with lovely views. It was a very relaxing stay. There were lots of amazing walks on the common, and we saw so much wildlife. Looking forward to our next stay....

So, as you do, I bought an unbroken horse unseen, from Ireland. The mare turned up and she was pretty unhandled and I was well and truly out of my depth. After a bit of Googling and speaking to a few horsey friends I called Will. He was charming and very helpful. He kindly collected said chestnut mare and calmly took her out of the field and loaded her into is trailer…. What a relief! After that point he kept me well informed of her progress and was always available to talk on the phone. At this stage I was unsure if she would ever be suitable for me - and now a few months on from having her back she is wonderful! I am so grateful to Will and his team from taking a horse that could not be patted to being calm, happy and trusting in humans. Will is a master of his trade and without him my mare would not be what she is now. I will always recommend Will and his uber calm approach to handing the horses, he’s one of a kind and I am so grateful and glad of his services! I must also add that the fact that he halter trains the horses is a valuable asset when you get them home, as if they question something, such as loading they remember the pressure and release of the halter and think, oh yes…. I’ll go on the trailer!!

5 weeks ago, this young girl couldn't even get on her pony.... now look at them go... both relaxed and happy...
Not many places can beat home for a sunrise or a sunset..
Ere William- I have a very strange relationship with my old Pa- he’s a good lad but lord is he sh*te. 78 in 3 months….. we got mafaar back from you about 4 yrs ago after you expertly broke him in.
Your last words to me were he’s a horse for toy Lorraine not your dad.
Well we got him home and I couldn’t be less interested in a spaz arab if I tried so I left it to dad to get him a saddle that fit etc….. it never happened he got put back out and that was that while dad pleaded incompetence.
I took a step back because to be fair I’m bored of organising everyone.
A year ago dad decided he was gonna get him going- still the horse that is 50/50 about putting a rug on as to if it’s gonna f**k off like superman cape included.
Told him no way you’re getting on him. Start in hand working him and then we’ll get a su***de rider in for a few months then you can get on if he behaves.
A year of being decked because a car had come around the corner and he’d topped dad like a spinning top dad did him every week- and finally dipped his hand in his pocket for a saddle we called the su***de rider. He rode him 5 times and declared him fit to go. Well- thank jebus for you William and your foundation you gave the ginger k**b.
Forever grateful for the work you do- it’s just like magic.
