Pawsable team Kitty and Sizzles were featured on Crufts with Clare Balding yesterday evening, followed by an interview with yours truly about autism assistance dogs. The film is brilliant, and huge thanks to Kitty for bringing the work Sizzles does for her to the attention of the Crufts media team, as that was the catalyst for the whole piece. It is well worth the watch, we can all be very proud of them!

Calling all autism assistance dog partnerships (either already active or hopeful for a future team). A Dogs for Autism partner is gathering research to help flag up the scale of the need for these incredible dogs. Research is hugely important, and it is vital that all sectors of the assistance dog community are represented across any research that takes place. So, charity trained, owner-trained under supervision, independently owner-trained and those hoping for a dog in the future - let our voices be heard as one! Please take a moment to fill in this survey. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and the more of us who contribute the more comprehensive the findings will be. (The ethical review code is UCSEC_4622) 🙂🐾Thank you!

This study is aiming to look at whether the placement of an autism assistance dog positively impacts the quality of life of the recipient.
