'I need to tell you about Kassie - a cute filly that I went to at the end of October. Although she's only two, her person had asked if I could come clip her to help manage her sweet-itch that she had been suffering terribly with.
When I got there, her tail was bandaged and as I asked to take it off, I couldn't have prepared myself for how bad it was. To make matters worse, Kassie then reached around and scraped another huge, bloody wound into her dock with her teeth. I still have a horrid, sick feeling when I think about it.
Kassie was so itchy that she would drag herself around the walls of her stable and once she left the field gate covered in blood from rubbing on it 😭
