Socialisation sessions!
We have decided to open up our "big pups" session this Sunday to any older dogs who also wish to socialise off lead with other dogs.
So if you have a friendly dog who would love to play off lead, in a secure field in Melbourne, get in touch.
The session is on Sunday 31st July at 4.25pm.

Socialisation sessions are back!!!
Now that the heatwave has passed, we can safely resume our Dachshunds of Derby socialisation sessions and our puppy socialisation sessions.
The next sessions will be on Sunday 31st July:
Dachshunds of Derby - for Dachshunds of any age: 3.15pm
Small pups - for small breed pups up to 20 months old: 3.50pm
Big pups - for large breed pups up to 20 months old: 4.25pm
The sessions are held in a secure field in Melbourne and cost ยฃ6 per pup/Dachshund.

I was hoping to book sessions in for next weekend but at the moment, this hot weather is set to continue for a while ๐ฅต

Scamps and Champs Derby are looking to build our team of dog home boarders, who live within the Derby City Council area, to look after dogs in their own homes whilst their owners are away.
We offer a real alternative to traditional kennels and we are looking for new hosts to add to our team.
We are looking for team members who:
*Have a private, secure garden, only accessible to your household.
*Are at home for most of the day, so would suit a retired person, someone who already works from home, or a stay at home parent. The dogs cannot be left for longer than 2-3 hours.
*Have no children under 5 living with you.
*Love dogs, animals, the outdoors and walking.
*Have past experience of caring for dogs or have owned your own dog.
*Are professional, reliable and trustworthy.
We place dogs with both host families who have no pets and with families who have their own pets already, depending on the request and requirements of the dog's owner.
You will need to have a mobile telephone and access to the internet in order to accept assignments, check your diary on our online software etc.
You will be covered under our Dog Home Boarders arrangers licence and fully insured for any bookings made through us.
We only ever board dogs from the same family together and you would get to meet the dogs and their owner prior to accepting a booking.
This is a self-employed home-based position. It offers great flexibility and can fit around your lifestyle. It is also great for someone who doesn't want the full commitment of dog ownership but would still like dogs in their life in some way.
Extra work may also be available dog walking and cat/small pet home visiting.
