Hi friends, it's been a while since we barked out a pupdate. We've still been having adventures and Mummy is feeling much better now to help keep you all updated with our escapades! 🐶

When mummy got really ill last summer we started having sleepovers with Netty Nan, they are the best. We have so much fun all sleeping on the bed together (except for one night Talia fell off in the middle of the night!) 😲🙈

We haven't been able to have many sleepovers recently because we (Teddy and Mia) haven't been very well ourselves. We got this nasty thing in our tummies called giardia and it wouldn't go away for the last few months. We've had to go to the doggy doctor a lot and had lots of medicine but we're feeling much better now. The nasty giardia has gone but it has left our tummies really sore so we now have new dinners that are gentle on our tummies... it's all fishy flavours which mummy says is a bit stinky but we think it tastes great. We also have new fishy treats which are so yummy! 😋

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to go back to agility. Mia's eyesight has deteriorated and she is almost totally blind now and the doggy doctor thinks she might be getting arthritis. Mia is very much enjoying her new life as a Princess though! 👑

I (Teddy) found agility a bit too exciting so mummy started learning how to do scentwork with me last year which is really fun and helps me chill out a lot. Now mummy is starting to feel better we're hoping to do more scentwork and maybe even try mantrailing! 🐕

Talia has been a tallywag and been eating far too many treats so is officially on a thing called a diet. She says she really does feel like she's dying because she is hungry but Netty Nan insists that she cannot continue to be a pudding anymore. If this cruelty continues we may have to call the pawlice! 😲

When mummy looked at all our social media pages and told us how many people were following us and wanting to hear our pupdates we sprang into action! We've been learning how to make videos, practicing our tricks and singing again (!) so we will keep you updated on our adventures from now on! 🥳

Trick Training: Feet

This is a new trick we're learning but they're doing so well I wanted to show you the progress already. The idea is they put their paws on your feet and you walk together 🙂. We'd love for you to learn this one with us!

Here’s another quick trick which is great for core muscle strength. Teaching them to walk backwards!

The Memory Game

Here's another game to test your dog's memory. Let them watch you hide some treats (I hid 4). Take them out of the room for a few seconds and then let them back in and see if they can find them without help. Here's our attempts!

Trick Training: Paw, High Five & Wave

We've also done a little video today showing you how to teach a paw, high five and wave. Hope you like it and good luck practicing!

Mia's Tempation Alley Challenge

The aim of the game... lots of toys and nice treats are lined up and you have to call your dog to you... Mia's turn: fail 🤦‍♀️😂

Mia's Find the Treat Challenge

Along with our trick training, we're following some challenges set by our friend Claire at K9 Performance Agility Training. We're running a day behind but Challenge 2 yesterday was to watch the treat while it moved it around under some egg cups so we had a go.... Here's Mia's go! Success! So day 2 was 2 for 2. I guess it makes up for the fails on the 5 second challenge! 😂
