Like all breeders, love getting photos of horses I've bred and seeing how they are progressing. This is the lovely rising 3 year old Oti (GreenLanes Querida, U-Genius x Florencio x Lancet) from the last year I was breeding. Such a super young lady, like all of Rosie's foals with a super temperament and growing up so well with her young owner Charlie Adkins, Charlie Adkins Equestrian. She's just starting a little in hand work - and has huge paces so she's testing Charlie's running skills! Looking forward to seeing her develop and grow up! I know she's loving her life with Charlie on the Isle of Wight! Many thanks to Sophie Adkins for the photos and updates!

Lovely weekend helping Stephen Mercer with a couple of horses at Chard Equestrian. This is a super mare I bred and Stephen now rides for her new owner Joan Hood, GreenLanes Masing Muse (I'm Special du Muse x Burggraaf x Concorde). Super young mare, looking forward to following her progress!

Our superstar 6 year old GreenLanes Lilibet (Balou du Rouet x Concorde x Danzig Connection xx) winning her second consecutive Newcomers yesterday at Dorset Showground after her win 2 weeks ago at Bicton Arena. Beautifully ridden and produced by Layla Felgate, and based with Connie Colfox Young Horse Specialist. "How does your horse Really feel" She was also 5th in the Foxhunter as well which caused a little carnage with a number of unplanned dismounts, but luckily everyone was fine. Sadly Layla is going on some travels very soon so Lilibet is looking for a new jumping partner - she looks to have a very exciting future ahead of her and needs a very competent rider as she can be quite sharp! Our exciting 2 year old gelding GreenLanes Pure Genius (Piglet - U Genius x Florencio x Lancet) strutting his stuff yesterday and showing his beautiful trot! With a temperament to match someone is going to be very lucky with this young man in the competition arena. People are coming to see him so he won't be around for very long - so get in touch with me if you'd like to know more!

Had a lovely weekend at Chard Equestrian with our lovely rising 6 year old stallion GreenLanes LeBambalou (Balou du Rouet x Warrant x Danzig Connection xx). After getting the fasted time with just 4 faults in the Newcomers on Friday off a very tight turn, he was last to go in the same class yesterday and despite locking on to an oxer backwards, he won the class - image how much quicker he would have been without trying to jump the wrong fence! As always superbly ridden by Stephen Mercer and turned out beautifully by Sara French. Always an enjoyable weekend with the team - looking forward to March already! And even the weather wasn't too bad especially for February! Some video of his winning round yesterday - still convinced the fence he had down on Friday was going to bite him - the red and white double he backs off quite a lot!!

Thank you to everyone who has posted on this site asking for details of some of the horses available. I have been totally overwhelmed by the number of enquiries and have gone through loads but will not be able to finish them today and am out most of tomorrow, so I will try to get back to you all on Wednesday - please remind me if I haven't got back to you by then.

Very sadly, due to a change in my circumstances and needing to support my mum virtually full time, I have decided that GreenLane Stud will discontinue, and all the youngsters will be available for new homes. I have a small selection of top quality dressage, show jumping and potential event horses available from weanlings to rising 6 year olds, some of whom are backed and ready to go. Lines include Johnson, U-Genius, Zacharov, Pilothargo, I’m Special de Muze, as well as my own two stallions GreenLanes Jester (Negro x Florencio) and GreenLanes LeBambalou (Balou du Rouet x Warrant). It has of course been a heart-breaking decision and I am devastated but know it is the right thing for both me and the horses. The homes will be more important than the prices they are sold for. If you would like to find out more about what is available, please contact me and I will try to be as helpful as possible to meet the needs of the youngsters. I would like to thank those friends from the Equestrian world and without who have been there to support me through this traumatic decision – you know who you are, and I won’t name you all here but you really do find out about friends going through something like this. Very well done to GreenLanes Hermione (Warrant x Danzig Connection xx) and Georgie Wood at South of England Horse Trials yesterday! Florence's first run for over 3 months and her last one for 2021, she had a super dressage for 29.8, one down SJ as she got a little tense and just a handful of time penalties XC to finish in 8th in the Novice section - a great end to the season before a bit of a holiday! Thanks to Georgie and Spidge Photography for a couple of lovely photos of them having fun!

Great weekend for our very exciting 5 year old mare GreenLanes Lilibet (Balou du Rouet x Concorde x Danzig Connection xx), ridden beautifully by Layla Felgate who is based with Connie Colfox Young Horse Specialist. "How does your horse Really feel". We took her to Dorset Equestrian for a visit to another venue as she can be a little worried about new things - a rather sensitive ginger girl but with tons of ability! She won the Discovery on 25th by over 5 seconds and did a very quick round today (26th) but just took a pole down after a tight turn which took her a little unawares. But it's all great education for her and she jumped a great round except for that. Many thanks to ESP Photography for some lovely photos. Lilibet will be having a short break now and will move up to Newcomers when she starts back in mid October. Such an exciting combination, a pleasure to watch.

Was lovely to see good friends Annie and Liz Lyons and Gemma at the weekend. We went to see the mares, foals and youngsters of course, they were very pleased to see us and some wouldn't leave us alone! Such a lovely bunch of horses. 'Our super 5 year old mare GreenLanes Lilibet (Balou du Rouet x Concorde x Danzig Connection xx) went to Chard Equestrian yesterday, came 2nd in the Discovery and 4th in the 1.05 open - her first venture at that level! Such a super, stylish mare, beautifully ridden by Layla Felgate and based with Connie Colfox Young Horse Specialist. "How does your horse Really feel". Our very exciting 5 year old mare, GreenLanes Lilibet (Balou du Rouet x Concorde x Danzig Connection xx) jumped her first Discovery at Chard Equestrian on Saturday, ridden by the lovely Layla Felgate and trained by Layla and Connie Colfox Young Horse Specialist. "How does your horse Really feel". She had another great double clear and from the photos seemed to think it was at least 1.20 rather than 1m! Lilibet is a 3/4 sibling to the great little mare GreenLanes Balou Star who has been competing internationally up to 1.50 for her new owner even at just 15.1 hh! We think Lilibet will be another just like her! Got to love a great chestnut mare! very well done to Layla and Connie - she is growing into a stunning jumping mare! Very exciting!

A great result in the gloom at Chard Equestrian today for our very exciting 5 year old mare GreenLanes Lilibet (Balou du Rouet x Concorde x Danzig Connection xx), ridden by the lovely Layla Felgate. In only her second show she got her 4th double clear at BN out of just 5 BN classes so now will move up to Discovery - and we don't think she'll take long there either! Very well ridden Layla and thanks too to Connie Colfox with whom she is based! A super combination!

Our super dressage stallion GreenLanes Jester (Negro x Florencio x Lancet) had an outing on Monday to Felbridge for his second Elementary test. He seems to have realised he's a stallion this year and was very excited and lit up with plenty of stylish bucks in the warm up, but he has a great relationship with his rider Josh Hill and they managed to contain it mostly for the actual test - although he was very tense throughout! However, the judge really liked him and gave him some super comments whilst saying that he was tense and would have had higher marks but still scored a fair +68%, enough to get him qualification for the Summer Regionals in just 2 classes! Let's hope he has his libido under control for the next outing! Thanks to Nicci Hill for the lovely photos - showing how much more powerful and balanced he is with all Josh's training! Very exciting combination!

Also from Chard Equestrian last weekend, our very exciting young stallion GreenLanes LeBambalou (Balou du Rouet x Warrant x Danzig Connection xx) getting a lovely, balanced double clear after a couple of poles down the previous days. But learning fast - he only started his jumping career in April so only a few weeks in! Bamber is being produced by Ellen Churchill based with Stephen Mercer - really looking forward to seeing how he develops over the coming weeks, months and years!
