Repawt received that a couple of doggies have been unwell after walking in the dunes at Caister beach. The vet thinks it could be due to eating something toxic, maybe palm oil which does wash up on this beach on occasion. Please be vigilant if you’re in the area. If you feel unwell phone your vet for advice. We understand the poorly doggies should make a full recovery. Woofs Ziggy Bear 💖

IMPAWTANT - MICROCHIP SCAM

If you receive an email from ‘Petchip Network’ stating that your microchip registration has expired and you need to pay for it to be updated - PLEASE IGNORE - THIS IS A SCAM. The email will most likely include your dog’s name, microchip number and contact phone details. ‘Petchip Network’ is not on the list of approved Gov. databases which you can find at https://www.gov.uk/get-your-dog-cat-microchipped If concerned please contact the company you registered your microchip with originally.

VERY IMPAWTANT - SCAM Beware everyone!
There is a very convincing email being sent from a company called ‘Petchip Network’ saying your microchip registration has expired. These personalised emails will have details of the microchip registration number, your address, phone number, names etc. This is a scam: do not respond or make any form of payment. If you are concerned contact the company you registered your micro-chip with. Our microchip company knew about the scam but were not much help otherwise. We have repawted it to Action Fraud.

Hi Pals, My brain's been as 🌫️foggy as the weather today! I went to an agility competition and completely forgot how to do tunnels, even though it’s usually my favourite bit of equipment. ‘Team Zig’ ie Miss Zsa Zsa, was on the sideline in full cheer leader mode yelling ‘get in those tunnels Ziggy” to no avail. Despite all that I did somehow manage to get a 🏵️2nd and 3rd place! Anyone else got brain fog today? Woofs Ziggy Bear 💖

Clara’s been very itchy lately so we popped over to see Pippa at The Dog House - Dog Grooming, Training & Day Care Norfolk, for her to have a soothing 🛁oat bath. Whilst there Miss Zsa Zsa treated herself to a pawticure and I had a trim, wash and blow dry! Paws crossed this will help Clara as all the obvious things have been ruled out at the vets. 💖HI Pals, We often get asked about easy access walks, so when we heard about the new boardwalk at Brancaster Harbour we decided to investigate. The one and a half mile flat boardwalk is pawsome for pushchairs, wheelchairs and for doggies in strollers. There were lots of doggies and their humans enjoying the walk when we went last weekend. 💖Hi Everyone, Our internet and I-bones are all working again and we are back online! Yippee! Miss Zsa Zsa, Clara and I have used our downtime to catch up on some naps, bone chewing and updating our Doggy Guide to Norfolk. We have been busy making sure all the information is correct for our beaches section but need help! Does anyone live near Cart Cap? We are not sure if there are dog restrictions in the summer on this beach and it's a bit of a long drive for us to check. If you know the answer please let us know.

💖Belated Happy New Year Everyone! 🥳 Hope you had a pawsome pawty on New Year's Eve! I spent mine locked in the garage, in the dark!!! Yes, dad did it again! I had to howl very loudly and it was 5 whole minutes before I was rescued! I was so traumatised I didn't even enjoy my pawsecco and went to bed early with a headache. On top of that our internet and i bones don't work, so we can't reply to any of your lovely messages. Should be back to normal next week, so we just want to thank you from the bottom of our paws for liking our page, sharing our posts, commenting and sending in your beautiful photos. Hi Pals, Yesterday we joined a beach clean and collected over 70kg of rubbish! Items included beer cans, coffee cups, tissues & sweet wrappers. Ziggy Bear and I were very disappointed to find so many doggy poo bags with poo in them. We are really lucky to live close to so many beautiful beaches and we get really upset when we see litter. I know my lovely FB pals would never litter but there are some really messy humans out there who are spoiling it for everyone else! Woofs Miss Zsa Zsa 💖

❤️🐾We popped into the PACT Animal Charity shop in King's Lynn yesterday to meet the staff (Michelle and Lawrence) and to present them with the donations from our collection. Lots of wooftastic bargains to be had and the shop is dog friendly so do call in when you're passing (opposite M & S). Bark nicely and you'll get a biscuit. Woofs Ziggy Bear & Miss Zsa Zsa 💖

A Doggy Poem for Christmas - Author Unknown

Twas the night before Christmas
when all thru the house
Not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nick soon would be there.
The children all nestled snug in their beds
With no thought of the dog filling their head.

And mom in her kerchief and Him in his cap.
Knew the dog was cold, but didn’t care about that.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter
He sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the window He flew like a flash
Figuring the dog was free of his chain and into the trash.
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow
gave the luster of mid-day to objects below.

When what to his wondering eyes should appear
But Santa Clause with his eyes full of tears.
He unchained the dog once so lively and quick
Last year’s Christmas present now painfully sick.

More rapid than eagles he called the dog’s name
and the dog ran to him despite all his pain.
Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer and V***n
On Comet on Cupid on Donner and Blitzen.

To the top of the porch to the top of the wall
Let’s find this dog a home where he will be loved by all.
He knew in an instant there would be no gifts this year
For Santa had made one thing quite clear.

The gift of a dog is not just for the season
They had gotten the dog for all the wrong reasons.
In their haste to think of the kids a gift
There was one important thing they missed

A dog should be family, and cared for the same

💖The Barking Bugle and Friends' collection for PACT Animal Sanctuary held at Tesco, Hunstanton, today raised the amazing sum of £560.66. We also had lots of pet food donated.
💖💖 Thank you to all the doggies and humans who braved the cold weather to help homeless animals this Christmas and to everyone who was kind enough to donate cash/food to this incredibly worthwhile cause. 💖What a pawsome time we had at the Canine Carolling Service at Holkham today.
