“When your loved one needs more than just a walk” Its easier to give examples than explain all that I can do with your dog, everything I do is tailored to your individual needs . Take Ben, cross Ridge Back/Staffie, one of the most hyper vocal dogs I have come across in a while, he had multiple behavioural concerns for his owner and a plan had to be worked out to address all of these concerns. Reactive to noise, other dogs, visitors Stressed to the point he couldn’t travel in a car Pulled and strained continually choking on leash Fought with other household dog to point of injury Training began on day one making Ben comfortable in the car and coping with a short journey, this was built up over the week and then distance and having another hand-picked dog to accompany him was achieved. There are now no issues and Ben can travel with three hand picked companions with no issues. A long line was attached to give Ben room to explore his surroundings and recall was worked on to get immediate response for return to walker, this was achieved very quickly. Hand picking companions ensured Ben felt comfortable and not threatened by other dogs and over the next couple of weeks he walked slowly and calmly beside his companions. Due to Ben being taken out daily and working not only his physical but also his mental wealth he was non-reactive to his “brother” at home and there have been no displays of aggression at all. Ben takes command with ease and all visitors (who previously dreaded visiting) have commented on what a pleasure it is to see him, he no longer whines and jumps all over them, he is happy to say hello then go lie in his bed or at their feet.
