Today, we'd like to take a moment to express our appreciation for our remarkable team member and friend, Lorna. Recently, she found herself in a situation many hardworking single parents face—her son fell ill and needed to be picked up from school. Being the dedicated mother and employee she is, Lorna brought her son to work, showing us all the true meaning of resilience, love, and commitment.

To Lorna, thank you for being an integral part of our team and family. Your passion for your work as a talented dog groomer, your unwavering support as a colleague, and your warmth as a friend are truly inspiring. 1. **Originally from Scotland**: Golden Retrievers were first bred in Scotland in the mid-19th century by Sir Dudley Marjoribanks, also known as Lord Tweedmouth, who crossed a Yellow Retriever with a Tweed Water Spaniel.
2. **Multi-talented athletes**: Golden Retrievers excel in various dog sports, including agility, obedience, and flyball, due to their intelligence, trainability, and athleticism.
3. **Excellent noses**: Golden Retrievers have an incredible sense of smell, which makes them suitable for roles such as search and rescue, drug detection, and even medical detection dogs that can sniff out diseases like cancer.
4. **World's loudest bark**: A Golden Retriever named Charlie holds the Guinness World Record for the loudest bark, reaching a whopping 113.1 decibels.
