RIP Ella 🧡💙💚🧡

Ella was the most beautiful girl. She was the big sister chocolate Labrador of Sherlock, who is our most energetic and very loveable Dinky Dog 🐶

When I turned up in the mornings to collect the crazy pup, Ella greeted me every time with a waggy tail, the kindest eyes and the warmest, friendliest gestures. She knew I always had a treat. She really was “the best girl ever” 💖

Yesterday we knew it was her time. She left with grace and dignity and we were left with a broken heart 💔 but blessed to have know this wonderful girl ❤️

Sleep tight beautiful. You will be missed greatly. So pleased to have had the pleasure 🥰 one in a million ❤️

Sherlock, you are an awesome little guy…. I’m pretty sure you learned lots from Ella. 🧡💙❤️

Days like today remind me of how our facilities work in the extremes of the weather we experience ☀️💦☀️

Spencer & Molly 🐕🐾🐕‍🦺 Beautiful gentle play 🐕💗🐕‍🦺 Exit… Ali pup… (Ali never stops but she is very polite and knows when to get involved and when to step aside, she’s super smart) 🥰 💗 “my” Dinky Dogs 💗

They rehearsed these moves lots of times. It’s not easy being this good 🤣🤣 I didn’t pack any towels today as I though the sun had arrived 😬 but….grateful for the shelter, the only safe place to get the phone out 🤪☔️💧☔️

Ada has adopted Spencer as her new best friend. This is really cool for Spencer. He does get a little worried sometimes about not very much. 🥰 Ada is an adorable young female cockerpoo… they are great for each others confidence and a good match for energy levels. Enjoy a few moments from our day 🥰

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Molly and Spencer to the Dinky Crew 🥰 Molly is the black cockerpoo and Spencer is the cream cockerpoo…. I know, I know…. You can’t tell them from all the other regulars…🤣 This, for us, is a good thing…. They both literally just slotted in to the team like they come all the time 🙌💃🙌 They were introduced to us by their besties Micheal and John…. 🐕‍🦺🐕 Tomorrow we have a “hey, fancy seeing you here” session 🤣😂 Can’t wait! 💃🎉🙏

Sherlock is at “that” stage where he’s completely forgotten all he’s learned 😂 🤪 🙄 We have a number of simple behaviours that we teach all of our dogs to help us to manage them safely (he didn’t even remember his name today 😂) Back to school he goes 😂 👉🎓 He went with Angel and Harvey into our Wildflower Meadow to have some fun (training in disguise) …. 😘 Tomorrow is another day! 🤞 Sherlock is the sweetest soul but he’s a looooon 😆😍😆 Well done Angel… and thanks to Little Harv for being his Co trainer and friend 🙃🙏🙌 🐾 Well done Angel, the effort will pay dividends 🥇

Just a little window into our daily activity 🐾❤️ We teach all of our Dinky’s the skills that help us to manage multiple dogs safely in a hands off manner 🐾 We practice these daily, ensuring each of our dogs get the attention they need 👇 Here we have Rufus and Ali (who are the super stars at everything). They are sharpening their “stay at a distance / come skills” whilst the rest of the crew have some time out and join in the “come” part as they are hoping for a treat 😂

Here they are having fun today 🐾☀️🐾 Edger is wearing a lead as his recall is a “work in progress” as he is distracted by the excitement of being with his pals 🐕‍🦺😂🐾

Marley has been doing some overtime 😂🐩☀️ Almost falling asleep on the job 😴 😂 🚜

Lucy…. ❤️ (the black and tan cocker spaniel) who is our newest team member 🙏 Today…. 👇 Maybe this is day 2 or day 3 for Lucy and after a one to one with Angel, our super cool team member, this happened 🙃🥰👇 Lucy let her hair down……. She’s learning that her new friends are safe and friendly and that she can relax and be herself 😍 These moments, for Angel and I, are priceless 😍 And I have to comment on Pippin 🥰🐕‍🦺🥰. He’s our wonder dog… he’s happy to be in the crazy gang but shares his calm aura with them all. He’s my secret super hero, his super powers don’t go unnoticed 😍😍😍

Despite feeling a little off key this week we did have lots of joyful fun moments ❤️ Rufus, John, Rupert, Ted ❤️ We do have these experiences daily…..Enjoy 20 seconds of our day 🥰 Dinky’s….you rock 🐾❤️🐾 Angel you’re a star ⭐️

Dinky Dogs Day Care

At Dinky Dogs we offer a truly home from home service specifically for the small, gentle breeds that require a more intimate and personal environment. With over 6 years experience in Dog Day Care, Home Boarding, Training and more recently Grooming your precious family member will be in good hands with us at Dinky Dogs.

Dog welfare, correct exercise and stimulation along with comfort and the highest quality of care is at the heart of everything we do.

I have two dogs of my own, a 10 year old cockerpoo and a 5 year old rescue, who is probably a cavalier/bichon mix. Both of my dogs thrive in an environment that is stimulating but not too overwhelming and where they can mix with dogs of their own size, where we can match play styles and also provide plenty of comfortable space for the all important rest and relaxation.

We pick up and collect all of our dogs so you can carry on with your busy schedule and meet your commitments without having to worry about your dog.
