Hi there my name is Teresa, I am a professional Pet Carer. I hold an Animal activity licence (Boarding) Licence number 151165, I am insured, DBS checked, First aid trained and I have also completed a Diploma in dog walking and pet care and currently studying animal behaviours. I have two young children that are pet friendly and when they are with me they are fantastic at providing some extra love & attention. To use my services the general rule is the pet needโs to be friendly, well-behaved with good commands.
Although my business is called Bark In The Park, I care for all pets, including some livestock. I am an empath and nurturer so your pet will be spoilt and loved. I invest a lot of time to ensure I am the right carer for your pet and check for any risks.
There is a process before a confirmed booking and it starts with a meet and greet where we all get to know each other and see if I am the right carer. It is important when building a relationship with a pet carer that owners are transparent with any health issues and behaviours, past or present. After the meet & greet if all goes well I offer a free 45 minute play date with your pal and this is to see how your pal is in my care.
I am licensed to care for two dogs in my home the biggest I can care for is the size of a cockapoo, larger dogs can be cared for in the owners home. I can provide a pet sitting service within your own home and I find this can help any dogs that suffer with Anxiety but, also keeps your home safe whilst you are away. It might feel a little strange having someone in your home whilst you are away but, there are some great benefits to using this service.
My home is clean & modern with a large enclosed garden, artificial grass and a paved floor. There are fantastic walks in my area and fields.
I do send photos/videos to keep you updated as well as you are welcome to call to chat, but please note when I am working, I am focused on my job so If there is a delay in me replying to you please try not to get worried I will get back to you.
There may be occasions when I feel I am not the right pet carer or that my home is not the correct home, on the meet and greet we will have a relaxed, friendly chat and see how all parties feel, everyone needs to be happy. The meet and greet is not confirmation of a booking.

Dog Walking: Dogs must be socialised, friendly towards other dogs. Must have recall or will be kept on lead. One off walks available
1 hour walk: ยฃ9.00
30 minute walk: ยฃ7.00 Local area only.
Dog walks Christmas morning ยฃ15 per 45 minutes.

Pet Visits: Cats, chickens, some livestock, dogs, rabbits, birds, furry friends, fish.
Pet visits are a pop in to feed your pet or let them outside to use the rest room. Chats and cuddle and make sure they are okay, clean any litter trays. The visit is approx 20 minutes depending on animal and needs. I can also turn lightโs on, shut or open curtains, remove any post sticking out of letterboxes to keep the home safer if you are away for a period of time. However, if you are away for a holiday I would suggest house sitting as an option.
Prices for pet visits start from ยฃ10.00 for local area. Prices will increase for visits further a field.
Christmas Morning pop ins are ยฃ15.00

My Prices for sleep Overs. Please note that if you require your dog to be on itโs own and not to share with one other, there is an extra charge of ยฃ10 per day.
1: Doggy Sleep Overs: 1 Dog: ยฃ20.00 per night week day, Monday - Friday
2: Doggy Sleep Overs: 1 Dog ยฃ25.00 per night weekends, Saturday - Sunday
3: Doggy Sleep Overs with 2 dogs from the same family is ยฃ30.00 per night week day Monday to Friday
4: Doggy Sleep overs with 2 dogs from the same family is ยฃ35.00 per night weekends Saturday - Sunday
A normal stay:
1-2-3-4 walks a day depending on breed and ability and owners requirements.
Plenty of garden play and company
Scheduled relaxation 11.30-1.30, different types of music including relaxing pet music, meditation time to rest and unwind if they would like too. There is plenty of cuddles and a gentle groom/brush.
Daily basic groom, brush, paws, face and body checked and basic clean (using pet wipes)
Option of sleeping on the bed/upstairs for dogs that are able to rest and do not snore :) If owner consents.
For one on one service where your dog is on their own there is an additional ยฃ10 to each day of care.
Christmas Day and new year an additional ยฃ12 per care

Pet Sitting in your home.
I offer Pet sitting whilst you are away for the day or on holiday. I stay in your home and care for your dog in surroundings they feel comfortable in, this also means that I can care for larger dogs. In my home I can only board small to small-medium dogs. Pet sitting in your home also means your flowers are watered, house is safe from intruders, mail collected. I offer additional services such as food shopping, total house cleans at an additional price.
For me to stay and care for your dog and look after your home, the home must be smoke free without hazards and safe.
From ยฃ20 per night for 1 pet, additional pets From ยฃ3 - ยฃ5 each.

If you would like your dog professionally cleaned before you collect them, please mention this when making an enquiry. I use a fantastic, professional business who are amazing with dogs or I can take them to their regular groomers. A charge for me to transport them to the groomers and back is ยฃ15

I can care for up to 2 house rabbits (From the same home) In my home. Rabbits need to be fully vaccinated and provide an up to date vaccination book on making a booking with me. A booking form is needed to be completed to see if your Rabbit can stay with me in my home. Rabbits need to be well looked after and arrive clean to stay in my home. I can not look after Rabbits that are unwell or have health issues. Rabbits need to be Neutered or sprayed unless they are on their own.
Neutering a male rabbit means removing its te**es, while the equivalent procedure in a female is called spaying โ the removal of the reproductive organs. Either way, it is a routine procedure that your vet can perform. Not only does it stop your rabbit breeding, it can also help them live a longer, healthier life with a reduced risk of cancer and calmer relationships with other rabbits. All rabbits not used for breeding should be neutered; rabbits should always be kept with at least one rabbit companion and, even in same-sex pairs, neutering is a vital part of a forming a loving and sustainable bond.
Your Rabbit will have a little luxury in my home and will be loved and cared for.

Return to a clean and fresh home, there is nothing quite like walking into a clean home after you have been away, meaning you have one less thing to worry about. We will have your home clean and sparkly for your return. You do not need to have a pet to take advantage of our professional cleans. These cleans are deep cleans.

PAYMENT:
Prepayment for all services are due in advance by bank transfer or cash on booking, cash payment clients receive 10% off long stay bookings.
Cancellation policy:
Pet visits: Refunds are available with 48 hours notice. If less than 48 hours, I do not offer a refund.
Dog Walking: Refunds are available with 48 hours notice. If less than 48 hours, I do not offer a refund.
Pet stays. Full refund is given with 2 weeks notice after this time no refund is given.
Should you need to shorten your booking or return from holiday early and decide to collect your dog before the end of your booking, you will not be entitled to a refund. Please keep me up to date if your plans change.
Late collection: I kindly ask all owners to please respect their booking with me and kindly drop and collect as they have booked. I ask that when making a booking owners give themselves plenty of time to cover possible delays to avoid charges or being unable to re book with me. Please do not assume I can drop off your pet if you are late.
Charges for late collection is a full days rate.
