Oonagh is a Craniosacral Therapist, Myofascial Release Specialist and Equine Bodyworker with a background in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy. She has many years of experience working as a soft tissue therapist in several modalities and is now focusing on the more subtle techniques that are very effective at releasing tension within the fascial network. Adapted posture and fascial tension can n
egatively impact people and horses. There can be associated discomfort, gait changes and inability to perform to full potential all of which can cause physical, emotional and mental tension. The aim of Oonagh’s hands on therapy is to restore function, form and health with an integrated therapeutic approach. Relieving tension in the fascia is an holistic methodology so can affect the whole body. Owners report many positive changes in their horse following a session, behavioural and physical. Oonagh has been working as a human therapist since 2002, she qualified as an equine therapist in 2007. More recently she has fully qualified in 2018 as an Independent Saddle Fitter (SMS trainee member working towards SMS QSF).
